Hey Ladies and Future Moomies
Curiosity got the better of me when i emailed my gynea early this week asking her if i ever had these testings done.
-thyroid levels
-prolactin
-fsh
-amh
-estradiol
-inhibin b
-testosterone
She then mailed me a bloods form and off to Pathcare i went

Inhibin.b couldnt be done as its no longer on Pathcare's system?
Bugging her yesterday to check my results after i obtained a report myself but i couldnt make sense as to what i was reading, she was non responsive.(yes i know she might of been busy but she also knew she sent me for bloods i too should be a priority).
She finally emailed me back today..."thyroid bloods normal, amh level reduced(measure of ovarian reserve)
You need to arrange an appointment with a fertility specialist." My heart dropped

The email felt so cold almost like no sense of remorse or words of encouragement just to say that i too mattered and pregnancy will stil be in the cards for me or keep me posted absolutely nothing!
Ive been with her for a year and then this
I never could of imagined me being at age 33 having to seek help from a specialist.
I honestly didnt know what to think or say, then my mind started working overtime thinking if our medaid will cover the cost cause this specialist is based at a medical centre because i dont think we will be able to afford seeing one if it means tucking into our own pockets,So now im hoping and praying our scheme will cover.
But im so pissed at my gynea if i didnt ask about these testings would she ever had it done.?
Feels like i wasted a year trying

I had to ask for a referal letter and docs i needed if i do go,they didnt even have the audacity to enquire an app on behalf of me like other professions do,She was a awesome gynea but somehow it feels like she failed me...
Sorry for the long post my heart is just soooo full.
