Hope...You have every right to feel like that, I mean you told your GP you are actively ttc. It amazes me that some docs can be so careless. I really hope you can change your meds hun. We are here for the rants and to support you.

AFM

IUI done, 2pm today. According to my doc it was a much better IUI done and he's very Happy now for my TWW. It was extremely painful today so I'm really uncomfortable so he told hubby that I should get bed rest. DH is taking it quite literally. I'm in a warmed bed being waited on lol but missing the world cup final. So cross right now. But oh well I suppose in the greater scheme t his is more important. Doing progesterone pills for the next 2 weeks and told not to stress. Fx it works I have a really good feeling about this cycle

Hi ladies. So i was doing some research today regarding the medications that im on for depression and anxiety. Turns out they have an effect on my ovulation. Some of the meds delay ovulation thereby shortening my luteal phase or can sometimes stop ovulation altogether depending on the strength of my hormones when eggy is supposed to be released. I realise now why a few days prior to af last month i got 2 feint pos hpt's. I was probably preggo but thanks to ovulating late the fertilized eggy didnt have a thick enough lining to burrow into.

How many times could i have been preggo and lost it!? And when going onto the meds i explained to my GP that we are ttc. Im so ANGRY!!! And hurt. I want to march back to his office and scream at him but he will probably bill me a consult.

Nicola thanks for your support in your last post. Im so sorry to all of you for coming on and just ranting but i know that only you ladies will truly understand how cheated i feel

@Hope shame i'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. What cycle day are you on? It could be the stress from wedding planning etc, but don't give up!!!! be gentle with yourself, there's a lot going on and so just take it slow one day at a time. When is your wedding? And are you getting married in KZN? How exciting!!!!! you'll have to send us some pics!!

Hope you're all doing well! CD 23 here...nothing new no symptoms. Have been feeling super positive though like nothing is going to break me down. I also have this overwhelming desire to go out and buy a babygrow....i don't know why??? But i'm going to! Maybe its a sign, its such a deep desire I have no idea where its come from but i'm gonna follow it! if AF arrives i'll be picking up my Femara next week Friday eeeekkk

@Nicola no side effects from either. Took 2 of my 4 injections so far and today my doc told me to stop.

@cands that sounds Soo positive. It does sound like twins hun

Only one dominant follicle, bit disappointed, thought we would have more, but it's already 2cm on day 7, so ovitrell tomorrow morning and IUI Sunday afternoon :eek: my doc is shocked at how well I responded this cycle as with my 2 previous cycles, the 1st I had no response at all and 2nd just had a follicle at 1.8 on day 12. I'm super positive about this cycle. Have no tests at home and just told DH that if I want 2 buy any in the next 2 week's he must under no terms allow it. My cards were quickly taken away lol.

Im still watching from the sideline. We have 2 BFP. I really hope its the start of an avalanche!
