Meags - yes thats what I meant. If he is agreeing to it...then go for it. I must say even though my dh agreed to TTC with #1 he still wasnt that involved in the TTC process. Like he never asked when I was Ovulating, or how many days left til testing etc. I just accepted that. But this time around with #2 he was very involved.

Thanks Taryn.

My gut feeling is saying "take advantage of the fact that he feels so sorry for you that he's willing to TTC!!"

I don't think he will ever be 'ready'. But I think once I'm pregnant, he'll be supportive as it'll be too late to change his mind then!

AARRGG why do women have to have the 'broodiness'!!!! (well, with the exception of a few men...)

Ág, this whole natural vs c-sec is getting so old. I read the old threads as well, who cares what you decide. And I agree fully with Andy and Hayley ;)

Meags - hi hun! You know what, I'm a firm believer that 99% of all men never really get broody and will never really be 100% ready - BUT - we become moms the day we fall pregnant and men become dads only when baba is born, that's when all the fear and uncertainty change for them. I think men just tend to be more logical than ladies. So I think give him time hun - maybe see again in Sept? Wasn't that your initial TTC date?

Meags - I must be honest and say DH was never really ready to TTC but when I did fall preg he was happy...but only over the moon when the little bundle arrived.
I think its really hard for men (well most men) to express how they feel about having a baby. It must be awfully scary for them. I'd say go with the flow. It would be a lot worse if you were TTc without his consent.
Good luck (((hugs)))
