TTC 2012 Group Year of the ball, Year of the bump

Hi Everybody

A lady in our office just went for bloods-they were'nt ttc, but might have a small surprise...Our friends are expecting a baby in September and the were trying NOT to conveive!!!!

And I am trying and not getting it right and I have to go for progestorone tests and test CM and what not.
I really wanted to cry......and then I read the bottom of Ika's post and now I am crying!!!!

Ika - your symptoms sound good! hope there is a BFP on the cards! Diabetes does play big part in TTC - it relates to insulin levels - especially if there is insulin resistance. I have not read much on it, it may be best to ask Julz

Kimika - Cyclogest is to support the progesterone levels and you do need the full months supply- 1 week will not be enough. Usually it will be prescribed for the full first trimester until the placenta takes over hormone production. It's messy and pricey but it will help.

I have a constant state of queasiness and feel a little shaky- oh and Kimika I totally relate to the mood swings - I constantly want to snap at DH - and am very irritable.

Meags, I know that you're frustrated but I think you just need to give DH some time. I say this because I was pretty scared of ttc while my dh has wanted kids forever and has been super eager to try. And since you've set your timeline till December, he at least has these 4 or 5 months to get used to the idea. Once he is used to idea he'll be psyched up about it himself and then you won't need to beg him to BD because he'll be wanting to do it himself even if he is tired.

We're going to the quarter final at Soccer City tonight. I have so much work and was handed a whole lot of stuff yesterday yet I feel SOO LETHARGIC. Hardly did anything yesterday and certainly don't feel like doing anything today...this whole week has felt like this - I blame it on the 2 soccer matches that I went to last weekend that messed up my sleep and internal clock! Okay...so time to get motivated and tackle some of the mounds of work on my desk before I get myself into trouble!

Sounds like my Doctor, put me on Clomid and never did any tests or told me about anything.
