Jessica - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Sounds like a definite BFP to me, especially because you got 2 lines in the afternoon! You can go to a Lancet lab and just ask them to do a quantitative blood test - so you will get the hcg amounts. Then pay cash and voila, you can probaby pick up (they never give it over the phone) your results in an hour or 3.

Kimika - I thought about that, but I don't think so - left-over swimmers from Saturday night, 48 hours later and 3 showers - don't think so.

Girls, after reading your posts last night about the Clomid and ovulating later (about 8 days after O), I was thinking bout it and then phoned my SIL this morning. She said her gynae told het to bd every 2nd day from CD14 to 18, so she said they normally stop bding at CD16 thiking theyve done their part. So I told her that she might be missing O every time! Hope it works for her

Jessica, Congratulations again. I would say best route is to just do the bloods, just a normal yes or no is about R90 so not too bad Peace of mind is worth the effort By the way, the Dischem brand gave a very light results.. so if you used that one it might be the reason.

Lucy, great on the Ovulating.. although your charts confirmed it, just good to hear from bloods aswell!

jess- that's great news, just get in to see your gynae, tell them you want an appointment asap because you're spotting (although it's probably nothing to worry about) and your gynae will send you for bloods, he/she will interpret the results and if there's a problem they will call you with a POA!
