Sterkte! Dink aan jou!

How is everyone else today?

It's extremely quiet in here, wonder where everyone is...

Andy, sorry about your work load... And goodluck for your op... Will be thinking about you x x x

H-buzz, sorry to hear about AF, but think about it like this, you are one step closer every month to getting your BFP :)

Jessica, how many DPO are you? When is AF supposed to arrive, just test again and make sure... :)

Meags, not getting excited about testing, im thinking of testing on Thursday morning, if AF hasnt arrived during Wednesday night... :) Decisions, decisions..

Firefly thanks for letting me know about the title. I didnt even realise it was there since it is black on black!! i was playing around a lot last night with the layout so i'll have another look now :)

jessica its your choice if you want to wait to see if AF starts...but i think I'd rather POAS to know if its AF, implantation bleeding or if heavy, MC.

Hayley cant wait for you to test!!!!
Its so cold today in Joburg :( and so dull and dreary....

hi ladies

Well the 'happiest baby on the block' is basically a company that has come up with a technique to calming babies. i want to do the course and they just asked me to write a general article about my job for their newsletter so it's nothing MAJOR or serious!
They did ask me to add in something about the orphanage so i added this:

During my 4 year degree, we were required to do community service at a local orphanage. The home was warm, clean and the babies were loved. This is so important for babies who come from all walks of life. The lucky ones were left at a hospital, the unlucky were somtimes found in dustbin bags, toilets and under park benches. I have now been volunteering at this orphanage for over 4 years and help out in any way I can. After watching ‘The Happiest Baby on the Block’ video, I realised that this technique would work wonders for the babies at the orphanage. Considering there are 13 babies and only 2 staff members to care for them, I decided to try this newly learnt technique. I took 10 minutes for each baby, swaddled them as directed, turned them to their side or stomach and instantly, the baby was calmer. For the more difficult babies, I introduced the sway, shushing and sucking. Some of the babies there are already quite big, so I managed to do it on 6 of the babies and within 1 hour, all 6 babies were either calm or sleeping. Success ! 6 babies were obviously ‘The Happiest Babies on the Block’ !

Hi girls

I just scanned the posts from Friday onwards, there's really too much to catch up on since last week Monday!!

Lucy, sorry for the BFN, but once again I'm joining you. I took my last progesterone pill this morning, but started brown spotting yesterday morning. Also POAS yesterday at 12/13DPO and BFN. Will POAS again tomorrow morning just to make double sure before I go for the op, but I'm positive it's a negative again. So we're going into month 19.

Hayley, good luck for tomorrow.

Chris or Lalie, I need some advise. I am scared sh*tless about the lap on Thursday. I don't really know what to expect. What do I bring to the hospital? Round about what time do I get to go home? HOW BAD IS THE PAIN? Help please???

Nothing else to report on my side. Just extremely busy at work, as I have to do 2 weeks work in the 4 days I'm back at work. That's why I've been MIA.

I will check back later this afternoon to see if any of you ladies has any advise for me for the lap.

To everyone I didn't mention... Hello!!

Have a great day!!
