Replied by chris_ds on topic Long Post.....
Hi Ladies, some of you might remember this from the Pampers forum (not 100% sure who it was from, dont want to mention incase I am wrong). Mothers now do great jobs, and when you're a mother you will be great too! I really thought it was so beautiful, and before I had read it, it was pretty much how I felt and what I thought (about most of it). It also makes ttc mean so much more than just trying. For those that haven't read it, enjoy...

There are women that become mothers without efforts, without thought, without patience or loss and though they are good mothers and love their children,
I know I will be better.
I will be better not because of genetics, or money or that I have read more books -
but because I have struggled and toiled for this child.
I have longed and waited.
I have cried, and prayed.
I have consistently endured and planned over and over again.
Like most things in life the people who truly have appreciation are those who struggled to attain their dreams.
I will notice everything about my child
I will take time to watch my child sleep, explore and discover.
I will marvel at this miracle every day for the rest of my life.
I will be happy when in the middle of the night to the sound of my child, knowing that I can comfort, hold and feed him
and that I'm not waking to take another temperature, pop another pill, take another shot or cry tears of a broken dream.
My dream will be crying for me.

I count myself lucky in the sense that God has given me this insight, this special vision with which I will look upon my child
that my friends and family will not see.
Whether I parent a child I actually give birth to or a child that God leads me to, I will not be careless with my love.
I will be a better mother for all that I have endured.
I am a better wife, a better aunt, a better daughter, neighbour, friend and sister because I know the pain.
I know disillusionment as I have betrayed by my own body.
I have been tried by fire and hell many never face yet given time I stood tall.
Wasn't always easy.
I have prevailed,
I have succeeded,
I have won.

So now when other hurt around me,
I do not run from their pain in order to save myself discomfort.
I see it, mourn it and join them in theirs.
I listen.
And even though I cannot make it better, I can make it less lonely.
I have learned the immense power of another hand holding tight to mine, of other eyes that moisten as they learn to accept the harsh truth and when Life is beyond hard.
I have learned a compassion that only comes with walking in those shoes.
I have learned to appreciate life.
Yes I will be a good mother.

Hi Ladies!

Just popping in quickly to share this article that I found:

womenshealth.about.com/cs/pregnancy/a/whenpregoccur.htm

The crux is:

"Researchers found that the potential for fertility exists on almost every day of a woman's menstrual cycle."

So here come the month long bd marathons! :)

Taryn, so sorry that its a BFN... just a general question though, when Karatemom was preggies and had an mc, everything was negative even though she was pregnant, right? So there is a possibility that the bloods may not pick it up?

Meags, welcome :) This became a general TTC 2010 so that we didn't have to keep changing the name of the thread or start new threads and lose all our history. I don't temp or chart, but there are some experts here who will help you out! :)

How is everyone doing girls?

Thanks Ladies,

I feel like I really deserve some answers here...and my DH just tells me to "relax". Its just so flipping disappointing.

Tracy - Im not completly 100% sure about o day, but I know for sure that it was definately before Cd18 as I went for a scan dr told me I had o'd.

Does anyone know how accurate those standard hcg test are? I wanted the one that measures the exact amount but the stupid nurse said i needed a referal from my dr first.

Anyway, Im off to gym now to go take some of my anger out on the treadmill!!

Taryn, always remember Clomid does lengthen your cycle, unfotunatley that is one thing about Clomid that makes me unhappy... Sorry to hear about your BFN...

Give her time and she will arrive...
