Carmen, is Femara also a pill or is it an injection?

Juno, sorry to hear you have to move TTC out a bit. How long do you think? How old is your other little one?

KLK, I figured it's just actually just a multi vitamin and it doesn't say anything on the box about when in your cycle to start taking it so I started taking it on Monday night which was.......CD11? CD12? Something like that. So I'll count the next cycle as my "first" cycle on it.
PLEASE post pics of the room when you're finished. I love nursery photos and red & grey sounds gorgeous. I've been thinking of grey & orange (or pink & grey ) for our nursery one day.

AFM, nothing much. DH must REALLY be sick because he declined BD last night So except if he's gotten supersperm all of a sudden, I'm truly out this month.

I was on this group with you in the beginning of the year all the way back to the pampers days!! But, we took a ttc'ing break and I finally made my way back here!

Im sad and happy to see some of the same faces still here. KLK cant remeber you having another baba!

Anyhoo, we have now been off contraception for 5+ years but actively ttc'ing (like in seeing a FS) for about 10 months. I had a HSG done (!) and a lap and hyst after that where he discovered a 44mm cyst on my fellopian tube that he removed. Luckily nothing else wrong. DH is having his sperm analysis today and the our first cycle of IUI next cycle!

Tracy, I agree! Health first. Make sure you make that follow up appointment!

Cols, let us know how the appointment goes. Have you done blood tests yet? Sorry cannot remember if you said you had or not.

Strikkie, I agree, the 3 months will fly by. Cannot wait though for it to be over.

Carmen, where are you in your cycle again?

Andie, Yes I did get my BFP after one month of using it, well, I only took it for like 14 days as I got that stomach bug and didnt take it again. If you read the reviews on it you will see a lot of successes after the first month, so fingers crossed you are just as lucky. Not sure if you have started it yet but if Im not mistaken you should take it from CD1 (I could be wrong)

As for the nursery, I have used red and grey as my colours. Its not a baby nursery (if that makes sense), I mean the cot and compactum kind of gives that away but I havent decorated baby like I did with Connor's room. As soon as its completed I will post pics. Trust me it has been hard as Im pretty much a control freak too. Even my doctor was shocked when I said I didnt want to find out. But like I have said, there are so few surprises in life plus the fact I know when s/he is coming so that is one less surprise.

AFM, nothing really new. Tomorrow is 3 weeks until I get to meet my little Newbie. Feeling awfully large and uncomfortable but still loving it.

Carmen I kind of know what you must be feeling. I'm 40 and just hope that I don't have to much of a problem conceiving. Hope it happens soon for you...

AF arrived a couple of days ago but I have to get off a chronic med before starting which is going to be a challenge in itself - it doesn't look as if I'm going to be in time this cycle so willl have to move TTC out

Tracy, I agree with Andie, your health comes first. Your work ethic is high that's why you feel guilty, but you have to see to your health.
Hope you managed to enjoy your trip.

Strikkie, see it as a 3 month break from ttc, a chance to reconnect with dh. Before you know it the 3 months will be over. I see a BFP on the horizon. Good luck.

Clomid doesn't work for me. Femara works much better.

Andie, no BCP just said to have funbd so i have to check myself no bd from cd8 - cd15, after that we can ttc for 2/3 times otherwise i can make app again on cd1 of a cycle.

Strikkie I meant to ask, did doc put you on birth control for 3 months or did he just say you have to be careful?

KLK, not long to go now... you must be SO excited. I wanted to ask, what did you do nursery-wise with not knowing the gender? I still don't know how you did it this long. I'm waaaaayyyyy too much of a control freak to not find out the gender

AFM, not much going on. Think I O'd yesterday, but DH is sick so we missed it We did get in a BD session on Sunday though, and if he's feeling better tonight we'll put in a last ditch effort, but not very hopeful for this month.

O ja, I eventually found PregnaCare Conception at Clicks yesterday after searching for months at all the pharmacies around me. Sommer got DH the male one, Wellmans Conception. It's supposed to be good (and KLK got her BFP after one month, right?) so we'll see...
