Girls, Emsmom just gave birth to a baby GIRL!!!!! She kept the gender a surprise...

Simone : Good grief!!! That IS a high dose!!!!! But I googled, it, and yes, ladies are given a max of 2000mg Metoformin a day for PCOS. So definately not only you on that type of dose...hectic as it sounds!!

Andy I take 1000mg twice a day! So 2000mg for the day! Runny tummy I had last week was insane! Nausea...really awful!

I'm taking it for my pcos.

Simone, 1000mg????? Wow, that's a lot!! I'm only on 50mg a day. One tablet and I take it in the morning. I haven't had any real side effects from it. Except in the beginning it gave me a runny tummy for a few days, but that was it. Why is your dose so high?

Oh and I haven't started the other meds yet because AF has still not arrived

Maybe i just dont understand what the girls are trying to tell me when it comes to OPK'S...

Andy I see in your cocktail of meds is Metformin...I would like to know if you suffer any side effects from it, but because you take other meds with it you would not be able to poinpoint it hey? I just didnt take it today...cant handle the crappy feeling anymore. Will just 1000mg before bed at night and skip the other 1000mg.

I get the feeling you're feeling a little snubbed? I know how badly you want a baby. I know how it feels to only be able to think about that. I know what it does to your heart when you know deep inside yourself that it would be better to rather stop trying. I've been there not long ago. And I also know how it feels to not be able to stop trying.

But think about it this way... If you get pregnant and you're marriage is not strong enough for a baby, you're going to end up divorced with 2 children. Sure it's going to be bad for you, but really it's going to the worst for your children. They will have to grow up in a broken home and not have everything they are entitled to have and everything you would want to give them. You grew up like that, and I'm sure you don't want the same for your kids?

Honey, I'm not trying to preach here. Really. I'm trying to make you feel better about the decision that you and hubby made together. Like it should be. You should be able to stand together and be strong and be ONE so that you can give your kids all that they deserve.

So don't feel as if the girls are coming down on you for POASing and not sticking to your decision etc. They all mean well.
