Quick question, i noticed quite a few of you have been to Kruger national. Did any of you take malaria tablets?
My Fiance booked a week of our honeymoon at Jackleberry at Kruger and not sure if I should take malaria tabs and if they are safe?

Chanz - congrats hun!! Hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy. Don't stress too much about what you should and shouldn't do. Rest as much as you can, try eat healthily if you can and drink lots of water and drink your folic acid! Other than that, just trust that everything will be 100%

My goodness, just read my post from this morning, my word, I was completely out of it, makes absolute no sense! Sorry girls, my brain was not functioning properly

You'll get loads of advice Chanz but importantly make sure you take your folic acid. You don't really have to worry about prenatal vits now until after 12 weeks. My gynae said that it will make the morning sickness worse. Unfortunately Chanz, I know that this is going to sound harsh but there is not really much you can do. Its either going to be a healthy pregnancy or it is not. Sorry not much help!

Tracy, I reckon the temps were screwed due to alcohol consumption

So this is my first pregnancy...and my mom aint exactly part of my life to help either.

What can i expect? What can i do to safeguard the first trimester?
Any advice from your experiences? Please do share

And I'm waiting for your temp tomorrow before I say anything,heehee...I have my suspicions!
I took my temp an hour later after I took the first temp,after I passed out nicely again. It shot up to 36.86. Shows you what a big difference it makes if you don't take your temps at exactly the same time every day!! I was shocked! I hadn't gotten up,been awake at all and look at the difference!! So....temps same time every single day is definately not a silly rule!
