Marinda, you can't get Fertomid without a prescription anyway, so why not try the Soy Isoflavones? It's a natural Clomid and a couple of ladies here are trying it AND Tanasha got her BFP after her first month on it!! And you can get it without a prescription. It's made by Solal so you can just google that. I think you can order it from their website, but you can also get it from Dischem (don't know if you have one where you are?)

The Sperm-I-Prove I ordered online in January, but then saw it in our pharmacy (for cheaper I might add!!) so just got it there the next time.

Just shout if you maybe want me to buy it for you and send it on to you?

And don't let ANYONE tell you you don't have a chance of falling pregnant. There is always a chance if you've still got a uterus and ovaries!! It just takes one egg and one sperm. So keep the faith. I know it's difficult and it hard to hear about other people falling pregnant so quickly, but we'll all get our chance to hold our little bundle.

Hi ladies

Hayley so glad you and DH are on the same page! Will be great for your marriage!

Tracy....I'm sorry again about the BFN...I do know it'll come for all of us....hopefully sooner rather than later!

Andy i thought women loved Clomid...I dont know much about it...but why are you so hesitant to try it? You say something about your ovaries? My Dh is sagittarius...the most amazing man in the world....so I keep fx you get a sag baby :silly:

Andy...2009 baby...eish my friend...been a long journey for you:-( Praying 2011 is the year!

Klk...that sucks:-( Like I said to Tracy...with a new cycle...comes renewed hope ;)

Ilse....that is horrible...I know that feeling where you dont wanna get your hopes up, but you do...and just for the briefest moment allow yourself to think...MAYBE I AM!! *hugs*

Strikkie are you back yet?

JoDon have you passed the info on to your friend re: metformin?

I have to put in some BD time from tonight as I'm on CD16...and hubby leaves in 2 weeks. If 60 day cycle...well tough luck...if I happen to have shorter cycle though...I may just be able to catch an egg...we'll see. Still not too stressed out about the baby making process at this point...been 6 or 7 months now I think. Given it til June then will go see my gynae.

Ta Andy!

Quite frankly I already know what the FS is going to say, as he already told me that with DH's morphology there is a slim to none chance we'll get pregnant naturally. So he'd probably not even suggest the Fertomid, but I guess Im just so desperate to try something that might work because the waiting is very hard on both of us. And it seems UIU also is not very positive in our case.

We're praying very hard but some days are harder than others.
Where do I get the Sperm-In prove? Can I get it online=we stay in the middle of nowhere.

Marinda, I've done some research last week and over the weekend about exactly that. Unfortunately your doctor would be the best one to tell you when to take it. But according to what I've read, if you take it from CD3 - CD7 you have more eggs and if you take it from CD5 - CD9 you have maybe just one to 2 eggs, but better quality eggs. But like I said, you should follow your doctors instructions.

Also from what I've heard, take them at night before you go to sleep then you have less side effects? Don't know how true that is, because I'm speaking form experience here.

And unfortunately you cannot exactly pinpoint ovulation on these pills either. You can ovulate anywhere between 5 and 10 days after your last pill. Every woman's body works differently.

Maybe get your DH onto Sperm-I-Prove. They're not very expensive, I paid R89 for 60 capsules. We were talking about these last week and Tracy said she heard from a friend who is in the infertility field that they've had better results from these as from StaminoGrow. Him stopping smoking is a big plus, so going onto these (2 a day) could only help your cause.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ladies,

Hope you're all well. No BFP's? Still look everyday to see if someone has good news.

Please help-I need some info re Fertomid-if I have a 25-27day cycle on which day do I drink them and what time ect? Any other info I should know?

I'm hoping if we can sorta time my O days then maybe DH's boys (1% morphology)can maybe have a chance to get to the prize egg. He stopped smoking almost 3 months ago-maybe that will count in our favour.
InVitro is just too expensive, maybe I'm clinging on to false hope, but I really want a LO. Cried the whole day on Sat when I heard DH's cousin who got married last month's wife is already 14weeks pregnant.
