Morning Ladies

SimoneC, I am so sorry that it wasn't a BFP. I really had a good feeling. I'm also so sorry that receptionist stuffed it up. The Gynies here don't allow their receptionists to give out test results on the phone and for obvious reasons. I think it's very bad that she did that. I mean joking aside, imagine if it was something terrible like cervical cancer or something that was being tested... I had severe lesions on my Cervix in my 20's and had to have a colcoscopy biopsy and thankfully they said that we could leave it and monitor it but I don't know what would have happened should I have been told by a recptionist that it was worse than it really was and then be told she was wrong. It was stage 3 already and stage 4 was the cuttof and I have been healed (I believe it was a miracle but wont be going into that now) Anhow, my point is, they are not trained to give out results and I think it's shocking that they are allowed to.

AFM: Totally deurmekaar now. I used my FF monitor yesterday which was CD19 and lo and behold what do I get but beautiful ferning indicating my fertile period. So what now, have I not ovulated yet?? Got a BD in last night just in case. DH off to JHB for the day and only bakc tomorrow night so we'll keep going just in case. I am very confused now. i think the Clomid has lengthened my cycle somehow.

Hi ladies!!!

Sorry I've been so MIA - been hectic at work. I just wish I was on maternity leave already! Thank goodness together with the second trimester comes alot more energy (except for the stuffy nose) so I can actually keep up with the long hours. I worked the entire freakin weekend as well. Well, I can only keep it up for 2 more months though if I move into 3rd trimester I hear you get tired again  .

Tracy, Sue, SH, 2KM - I'm so excited for the sore ovaries Tracy and the EWCM SH! You girls really do all deserve your BFP's! Sue = when you testing? I'm holding thumbs for you!!!

Ika - did everything get sorted with DH? Hun you are in my prayers can you go through with IUI?

Hayley - what time are you seeing gynae??

Andy - didn''t you have an appointment with a FS soon? Dr Kruger?

Vix - fancy meeting you here on the ttc thread ;) Tweenies are gorgeous!

Rest of the girls - halllooooo! Can't wait for my scan on Monday - doc will hopefully confirm for us if it's pink or if the pink recently turned into blue :P

Morning ladies.

Quick one from me.

SH : WOW on the EWCM!! You need to get that BD groove on girl.....you GOT to...it is such a good sign!!
Good luck for the dentist! I haven't been since Std9  I HATE dentists!!! But my teeth are fine still as far as I know :P
HAVE to make a plan to get to one!

Vix : Heehee on the long post.....so nice to have you pop in with your 2 cents worth still!! At least you still "watching" us...

All the other ladies, HELLO!! Can't post much now, month end going crazy here.
Will pop in again as & when I can...

AFM : Think I have a sore ovary....."think" because with gynae saying the endo is probably causing the pain on my left ovary, I'm not sure any more which pain this one is.
OPK last night was ok. Test is more than half the darkness of the control, so it looks like my surge is building up....at least there was a line!! I really thought it would be just the control line there, because of the lack of pain this month.
So fxfxfxfx I ovulate nicely....

Have an awsome day ladies!!!

Morning ladies

Simone...sorry about the big mess-up...hope you feel better today and that you will get answers from you gynie visit...

Mandy, I agree with Tracy...that pharmacist doesn't sound very clued up....as we all know about the tablet to bring on AF...but I really do hope you get your cycles out soon :)

Re boy vs girl....what I meant was that when you go google...that is the common thing that they tell you...not me :D I agree....you have a 50/50 chance and no matter what you do, you can't control what happens when sperm meets egg!

No news on my side....had some really good EWCM yesterday...that hasn't happened in AGES. But didn't BD...will maybe make DH happy tonight LOL On cd13 today...going for bloods next week Wednesday...

Going to the dentist again this afternoon...getting my teeth all fixed before I fall pregnant again. When I was pregnant with the twins that really took a lot out of my body...and my teeth really suffered. So this time I'm prepared...new glasses...fixed teeth...so bring on the BFP :D

Sue- I should probably just shut up and stop giving false hopes but here's what happened wwith my pregnancy, I O'd CD10 and my chart showed that but then suddenly my temps fell and we presumed it couldn't have been O, then suddenly CD16 I O'd and this time the temp went high, dipped about 4DPO then shot up and never came down again so we took CD10 as a 'funny' reading and worked on CD16 as O but actually I DID O twice CD10 and CD16 and here I sit with my boys. Now, whilst it's common for a woman to ovulate 2 eggies and concieve twins it usually happens on the. Same day because the corpus letuem produces progesterone after O has occured inhibiting further ovulation (natures way to avoid multiples and protect the one potential preg) it's actually extremely rare for a woman to ovulate on seperate days and more so nearly a whole week apart (but less face it if anyone was gonna be the freak of nature it was gonna be me) so I did have 2 O's and 2 implantation dips so it does happen, just not very often.

Simone- I'm really so incredibly sorry about your results, it was so wrong for her to do that. But I agree, it's probably worth a visit to the Dr to ask the questions on your mind. Were you on the pill? It can take a few months for O to re start in your body after being on the pill, it took my body a good 6m for o to re appear and bam twice at once oooops, that teach me to be so freakin impatient LOL

Andy- Ag man, families are the pits sometimes, why does everone always want your wedding to be their way? If I could get married again it would be on a remote island with no one except me and DH because family just have a way of screwing things up. Welll if you guys are happy as you are then good for you, just continue on enjoying yourselves, Carmen only got married after many many years of being with DH and they are so incredibly happyam It's so good to hear her happy after all those years of TTC, she just goes to show that it can and will happen for everyone sadly the journey might be long and tiring but it will be worth it in the end.

See now this is what pyjama drill does, it gets so boring and lonely that one goes searching for topics to read and then I reply an essay, sorry gals

Yes,there is a tablet gynaes give to bring on AF. They then usually put you on the pill for 3 months to regulate AF,and then they take you off the pill and eithert see if you ov narturally,or give you Clomid to induce ov.
You are both possibly having anovulation, which means you don't ov every cycle. This then delays AF,as she only visits after ov has actually happened.
I'm sorry to say that pharmacist is not what I called qualified to give you a bullsh*it answer like that. NO,it is not normal to have a period every 3 months. Yes,some woman have long cycles, but that causes problems while ttc. Hence gynaes help fix your irregular af in order to have a far better chance of falling pregnant.

And that was my serious talk for the night...heehee

Mandy it was like a really bad punk!lol. I've had a good cry, a glass of wine and some choc chip cookies and feeling better!!

I read on fertility friend or somewhere if cycle over 35 days chances are u are not ovulating! I`ll try to remember the the vitamins, iron and magnesium...I'm also going to try and get healthy again...look we fell pregnant once...so hopefully some added vitamins and a healhty lifestyle and we`ll have our bfp`s soon?

When we both fell pregnant though we were on`regular` under 35 day cycles? So I'm thinking we need to have shorter cycles to fall pregnant. Will appreciate u sharing info...will do the same.

Sue so now we wait for you to test! Come on ladies...been too many bfn`s lately...we need some good news!
