We BD'ed 3 days before O, the day of O, and the day after and its a girl. So i also think it is all up to fate.

I personally would not ruin my chances of falling pregnant at the slightest just for the chance of having a girl. Who knows if you do get pregnant that way it miught even end up being a boy!

Each to their own i quess! But personally i think you always have a 50/50 chance regardless of the method!

Honestly girls, I think it is all up to fate, my opinion. Take the girls that have fallen pregnant here on this thread, how many are having girls and from what I can understand, they all pretty much did it like rabbits. Also take Lucy, she had the Ovidrel shot and if anything she should have a boy as she had sex when the egg was released but she is having a girl.

I think the most common thing when trying for a girl is to know EXACTLY when you OV....and the experts say that at least 3 daysb before OV, you should have sex and not again...giving the female type sperm to live longer and the male type sperm to die...

But I agree...the lemon and drying up of CM...it doesn't sound good.

I have read that the x & y sperm lives are subject to the alkalinity of your CM. So it depends on how much alkaline you have in your CM that determines whether the boy or girl sperm live longer.
It just doesn't make sense to dry it up altogether, as BOTH lots of sperm need some form of CM in order to "live" in for their journey to the fallopian tube....
Douching I have heard of, and certain fruits etc to change the alkalinity of your CM, but not drying it up altogether....

I think we used too much lemon last month and seeing as it's a natural spermicide, killed all the babies.

oh ya vix i still meant to reply to you lol! thank you for that encouragement,however it seems i had another nassive dip this am. do you gals think it could be inplantation of twins? not sure that will happen two days apart tho...
