Hayley : I'm soooooo sorry about the party!!!!
Bar mine being a valid reason, it doesn't make me feel any better about not being able to go. How many people eventually made it??
I have to say, had it happen with Tryston as well before in DBN - I SWORE I would never do it again. I now send all sorts of goodies to school for the kiddies to have a small party there, and at least I know he will have fun, and the kids WILL attend!!
It's not the kids that let us down, it's the parents.
And then I have a seperate little "party" for him with just family.

Hi Girls

I don't want to step on any toes but i'm out here asking for votes on the GHD competition. I know my hairdo doesn't look as hectic as some of the others but I couldn't afford that thing in a million years and it would really be so awesome to have something to help the hair along you know, sometimes in Cape Town the weather does this thing that makes my hair look like I have static electricity running through my body and if you want to see a crown and a half you need to check out mine, the cows lick doesn't do it for me either. Pleeeeze TTC buddies, your votes are all desperately needed

Ag Hailey, I think it's so very rude when people don't RSVP. I have had that happen to me so much with my Kids parties and it really is terrible. we go to so much trouble and then people that do RSVP sometimes don't even pitch let alone send an sms last minute. Last year I had my Daughters 4th birthday at the Spier Wine Estate and paid upfront for all the kids. There were people that didn't even have the decency to apologise after the party for not coming. It was a very expensive excercise. AAgh no for the cupcakes, I have had that happen before now I make sure to put them all into big tuppawares when they are iced.

Tracy, when i explain this please dont think im directing it towards you, that is not my intention as you had a valid reason....

So out of the 24 people i invited half of them didnt even bother to RSVP, i mean have the flipping decency to relpy either 'yes' or 'no' anyway that was that, so im sitting at the venue waiting for Chloe's guests to arrive and one by one the sms's staring coming through from people who cancelled.... Arrghhhh!!!!!!!!!

Then to top it off all 24 cupcakes i baked on Friday night were covered in ants by Saturday morning, so i threw the whole lot away... I was so irritated...

SexyHexy, 'tan' is still flippin sore....
