Capi : Ah man, I'm so sorry you had a bug on Sunday. Shrimps dad & myself are sitting with it last night & today, so I feel your pain.
On a good note though, it is RIDICULOUS how many woman fall pregnant in the month they contract some bug of some sort over their fertile time. So this has GOT to be you month!

AFM: nothing has been really happening,except I'll be seeing my Gynae on the 8 February- so i'm looking forward to that, so we can get this ball on the go...this has to be the year,time is running out - turning 26 in May

I totally understand that rollercoaster ride! Wish you a positive pregnany filled with joy.

Andie- the investigation phase can sometimes feel like a drag, especially if you've been waiting so long. Hope you get a POA soon.

AFM
IUI was at 10:45 on Sat. We took it leisurely. Sample at 8:15 then we had a nice breakfast, back in time to collect it and off to the FS for insemination.

I was so funny because 3 of us were scheduled for AI on Monday and we all surged naturally on Friday. So all had to be in on Sat for inseminations

Had a stomach bug on Sunday, was down and out. Very weak and tired. Was off yesterday to recover and back at work today. the fever was bad!

Now the TWW.

Oh and before I forget, I'm STILL spotting before AF, but I had my progesterone tested last cycle on CD21 and it was 36.7 so it's definitely NOT a prog shortage that's making me spot.

Hello Ladies!!

Sorry I've been scarce, but it really is a mad house at work with ELEVEN stocktakes done last week and now analyzing all that data. Just thought I'd pop in quickly and let you all know what's up on my side.

But first off, Tracy, it's probably not official until it's on here, so congratulations again!! I really am so happy for you and hope your's is the first of many BFP's this year for all us "old folks"

Carmen, I'm holding thumbs that this round is it for you and that we will read about your BFP next week!!

OK so as you all know, I went to Tygerberg Hospital's Fertility Specialists. I'll start a new thread about the whole government hospital experience some time, but, just quickly, the results were:
1. I was sent for bloods to test FSH, Thyroid and Rh
2. I have to go for a HSG and that appointment is booked for the 29th
3. DH has to go for another SA

When all those results are in, we'll be able to get a POA

Unfortunately the HSG will be done on CD11 so giving it one last "natural" try this month will be out.
