I'm one of the fossils on this thread,been ttc for 18/19 months now for our first baba. Been to FS this year,had three failed IUI's and now moved on to a new FS who at last diagnosed me with insulin resistance. We're trying naturally to get pregnant for the next 2 cycles and then if nothing,we'll go to FS in Jan for our 4th IUI!

If I can give you advice,don't soak up too much knowledge about ttc yet! It will just stress you out! If you've taken steps or meds to fix your thyroid and pcos (which the glucophage will help with that your taking!),just bd every second night or at least every third night and you may well be pleasantly surprised! It's quite normal for it to take up to a year

We have been TTC since about Feb this year. I have been diagnosed with olighonemonrea/ which is basically having too many eggs grow at the same time and them doing so deviding some kind of hormone between them where it should only be used on 1 or 2 eggs at a time, and this delays ovulation, causes long cycles and if i did ovulate the quality of the egg was not that good. The FS explained all this this morning, but I have already forgotten most of it!

Simone, you have different stages of cm: sticky, creamy, eggwhite cm, and watery. Last 2 is the 2 that is the most fertile because sperms have to travel to the eggie and that help, omw i wont make a nice teacher hope you understand what i mean. As soos as you see ewcm you know O is near, but there was time i didnt see that and still i o'd. After o cm normally non existent or getting creamy again and then sticky and the "dry" period before AF.

Sorry but this may be a gross question...must you always have the cervical mucous as evidence of ovulation?

I really am clueless to TTC...I thought you have sex and you fall pregnant...easy peasy.lol.

I take mine - mouth. Same time every morning before you do anything even before kiss dh or lg or go to the loo. And it must be after about 3 hrs solid sleep.
