Hayley - I did mine in my thigh (more meat lol) but you can also do it in your side. Dr did mine once and he did it in my bum (not cool its damn sore and he didn't do it slowly either, meany). So I prefer the thigh, it does burn though, be warned - deep breath

And Hayley hun, you have a 3hour leadway as well. In other words, you can ovulate anywhere from 09h00 -12h00 then on Thursday. If you do it at 17h00 this evening it's fine - hence you'll o anywhere between 17h00 and 20h00 on Thursday and you also still have a 12hour window after you've o'ed as the egg is viable for more or less 12 hours. Your stressing yourself up hun and it's really not that technical

Go get the shot at 17h00 today or even at 16h00, and then just bd away. I won't stop at Thursday if I were you, carry on just incase

Hayley - the ovidrel injection is given in the stomach. There really is nothing to it. You can administer the injection anywhere around your navel. You have to draw up the liquid from the one bottle with the thick needle, squirt it into the bottle with the powder, it will mix immediately by itself, then you withdraw the solution again with the big needle, make sure there are no air pockets in the base of the injection, put the thin needle on and you inject at either a 45 degree angle or a 90 degree angle - all the liquid.

If you do the injection at 09h00 tonight, it's most likely that you'll ovulate at 09h00 o"clock on Thursday evening - hence the timed bding.

So the other option i can do it is at Dischem after 17:00 today, cant do it this evening or tonight as hubby is working till what time, who knows...

So even if i have it done today after 17:00 we cant BD tomorrow and Thursday after 17:00 as we still on our way home from work and fetching Chloe from school etc... So we gonna have to wait anyway until Chloe is sleeping etc...

Ovulation occors approx 36 hours after the shot. So when you BD 24 and 36 hours after the shot you have enough sperm waiting for that egg to come down and another 12 hours later is just for backup and to make doubley sure you have enough swimmer is there.
