Hayley why do you need a script? Did you not get the ovidrel and clomid from Dr Hogewind?

Ha-ha.. I just phoned the Dischem round the corner from my house and they do the Ovidrel injection, they charge me a R30.00 clinic fee and the sister there has no problem doing it and that's it, now comes the tricky part they of course need a script from the Dr, now how do i tell the Dr i WANT a script, cos surely he will insist that he does the injection himself, but R350.00 is abit steep for an injection....

Andy I hear you but DH's morfology and sperm motility also plays a role. Before wash every time only about 30% of his sperm was motile so 70% of his total sperm count is basically blocking the healthy sperm to get through. Thanks for the optimism but I'm a bit passed that - we've already spent R15k on IUI"s now. I'll hear what Dr P says on Monday though, maybe there's something else maybe there isn't

Lalie, I see your point, but (and I'm just being an optimist here) what if you get success from a monitored cycle? Then you don't have to spent 32k on IVF.... Decisions, decisions!!

Andy no I don't ovulate on my own at all and with clomid first round I responded very well, 2nd round didn't respond well and 3rd round didn't respond well. Problem is monitored cycles are R1600 per cycle, so if I can rather save that money towards IVF, it's about R30k depending on meds etc.
