Andy he said we could consider doing monitored cycles between now and when we want to do IVF but to me it's a waste of money because I don't respond to the fertility drugs any more. So yip IVF would be the next best step.

AI is exactly the same as IUI. They changed AI to IUI to make it sound less superficial (I read that on google )

Strikkie, you don't usually spot before AF do you? So don't wish for AF to come just yet... You never know, hey. It really is only over when AF arrives.

Lalie, I also read and heart that your ovulation day can change and the phase before ovulation (what's it called again??) can change, but your LP should always be the same. But mine have changed over the last couple of months as well. It used to be very short, sometimes only 9 or 10 days and it has slowly but surely gotten longer and longer and averages out at about 15 days now. So I don't know....

Lalie, did the doctor say IVF is the only next step or is there something you can do before that? What about AI or is that the same as IUI? I know you're going for a second opinion, but I'm just wondering.

omw - lalie!! Hy is darem maar weird en DROOG. Genugtig... Ek het al vergeet hy het al 'n iui gedoen. My manlief kon die horrie piep kry toe oom strikdas sommer met sy kaal hand daai lubricant aansmeer voor die IUI.... Doen dr. H dit ook so?

Gelukkig het ek hom mos al ontmoet en ja hy is funny! Hy't ons eerste inseminasie gedoen omdat Dok Hogewind weg was daai naweek. Hy het nog so lekker droee joke gemaak oor dr Hogewind wat opgesluit is vir dronk bestuur dis hoekom hy ons moet insemineer - hy wou homself doodlag vir sy grap ha ha
