Karatemum, that's exactly my point. If you know for a fact he's lying to you and you just leave it, he thinks he can get away with lying to you and will probably start lying about bigger, more important things...

Yup, Hayley, I'm going to keep up with that at least until we see a FS next year (or until I get a BFP ). That way I give it time to actually start working in my body and I know I've done everything I can.

Tanasha - don't bother asking again - my hubby does the same, he smokes at work in breaks but not ever at home, he knows I hate it and not good for me with my asthma. Plenty of times I ask him and he says no, he knows my personality by now so I'm like 'bloody liar' he just laughs as he knows he is caught out. I think they lie because if they smoke they know we hate it so they see it as disappointing us. If you know he did then leave it I do now, what difference does it make winning that arguement? That's how I see it, so if you do want to say something (next time only) then I usually use the comments like why are you killing yourself like that? lol he knows what I'm on about!
