Tanasha, my first response would have been if he was in a full pub where everyone was smoking, he would obviously smell of smoke because it "seeps" into your clothes and hair and skin and everything. I for one remember what we smelled like when we got home from the clubs...

But if you smelled it on his breath as well and he's lying about it, it's a problem. Personally, I would talk to him about it again, because my thing usually is - if he can lie about something so trivial, what else can he lie about? But that's just paranoid me. You know your husband. But yes, I would broach the subject again if I were you.

2 guesses what my nursery theme is going to be one day...

I have a weird question/situation... DH used to smoke...alot. He quit about 4 years ago when we met. And now he only smokes occasionally when he's out with his friends in a pub or so which I dont mind so much. Last night after his football game they went to the pub for a drink and when he came home i could smell smoke and when he came to bed I could also smell it in his breath, so I just asked him whether he smoked and he said no. But I am 90% sure that he did and now he is lying about it? He knows i HATe smoking so i think he might be too scraed to tell me that eh did, but i already told him i am fine with it if he smokes accasionally. But now its bothering me that he feels he needs to lie about it? Shoudl I aks him again? What do you guys think?
