Hi Tanasha

I don't want to hijack the TTC thread with the clother diaper info. There is a cloth diaper thread but if you would like to send me your email address I will forward you huge amounts of supporting information. Besides the cost implications of disposables 9For 2 years one child's disposables will cost you on avg about R12500.00. The environment is the biggest factor, did you know it takes 20 Trees worth of Paper to keep one child in disposables until potty training? The lanfill issue is a whole nother debate. Our landfills are so full that we only have around 3 years left before we have no more space for the disposables to go. They take between 500 and 1000 years to breakdown. Then the chemical issue is a big one. Never mind the chemicals used in the paper bleaching process of disposables which then touch our babies skin each day,did you know that the main ingredient in the Gel that makes the disposables absorb is called Dioxin and this a know cancer forming chemical. It was also an ingredient in the make up of Tampons for many years until it was banned because of it's properties. It was taken out of Tampons but never removed from the nappies. Think about a generation prone to Fertility issues and Prostate cancer??? The list goes on. This is why they are so much better. if you want me to send that email let me know.

Good morning!

Hayley your symptoms sound very promising! Fingers crossed for you!

2kidmamma , I am also not sure that i would use cloth diapers, why are they better than disposable ones? Sorry if this is a silly question, i might just be abit dof :)

TracyM , woohoo for the + OPK's! Enjoy the BD'ing!

Tanz, where in your cycle are you? Did you manage to get a thermometer to start charting? if you did, i hope you wasted your money and AF stays awaya nd you get your BFP! ;)

I am going to call for my results today, I am not sure whether it will be in though, fingers crossed! They tested me for FSH, LH and oesterogeen (no idea what that is in english, nevermind dutch!).

Last night i used an OPK and it had a line, but not as dark as the controll line, does that mean that i am gearing up to O? Or should i just ignore this completely and take it as a negative? I hate OPK's! :S

Ika, i did speak to my Homeopath and he said the meds i have been on shouldnt interfere with the OPK'S... It's all natural and he's not putting hormones back into my body...

Bearing all that in mind, i have been off the Clomid for 2 months and ifinished the Homeopath meds more than 2 weeks ago.. The only think i am taking is Folic Acid but i've been doing that since TTC which is almost a yr ago...

So who the hell know's what's happening with me...

Hi gals.

Sorry that I havn't been round much. The guilt is starting to set in. I have been browsing the thread though so I have a vague idea of what is going on with you all.

TracyM
I also thought I would only use the cloth at home and at the school but it is genuinly so easy that I have stopped using disposable nappies entirely now. I just have a special waterproof wet bag for travelling and when I get home if I have had to change a nappy then I just put it in the wash straight from the bag. These days it's really such a breeze doing cloth nappies. I also work a full day and so if anybody was going to say it is difficult then it is me and it's truly not. I am just very sorry that I never used them from day one with both my kids. Definately check it out and perhaps try one or two before buying one type of a full set. That way you can figure out which one works best for you.
