YEAH Andy!!! That is wonderful news, so exciting and exotic!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Sorry girls, someone (I think Kimika) also asked how my cat got the blood infection. It is a Myoplasma haemofelis infection. It is a bacteria that is similar in its life cycle as the malaria parasite in humans. They get it from biting insects and not really something you can do to prevent it. Luckily it is not contagious for my other cats. But he is really sick. Apparently the symptoms are similar than that of flu in humans, just much worse. That is why he cries so much - a lot of muscle aches and pains. :(

Hello honeys!!

How you all doing? Sorry I've been MIA, but I have something very exciting going on at the moment....

Sue, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think progesterone is definately your way forward, but not from the time you get a BFP. You should actually start taking it as soon as your know you've ovulated (like I'm supposed to do). I definately think you should start charting (if you're not going to take a break of course) so that you can be sure that you ovulated and then start taking the progesterone. Then you know you're definately covered and gynae can then maybe put you on something stronger when you get a BFP? But then you just have to remember that you won't get AF. You'll have to test at 14/15DPO to know to stop taking the progesterone if BFN or to go onto something stronger if BFP. That's my view.

Tracy, sorry about AF. And your chart looked so good!! Maybe next month? And maybe the heavy AF means you had a nice thick lining, which is always a good thing.

Lalie, good luck with the bloods. It's not over till that stupid red lady pitches and if there's no sign of her... Can't wait to hear your news.

EmsMom, good luck with waiting. The last 2 or 3 days of the 2WW is always the worst. But remember, if you test early there's always a chance of a false negative!!

Ika, sorry about the test results and impending AF. I hope DH isn't away for your next IUI!!

Ilse, is your cat any better? And don't let these women push you into testing early!! You stick to your guns girl!!

To everyone else I missed, hello!! And to all the pregnant fairies still popping in, how are the pregnancies going?

Nothing to report on my side. CD9 today and I actually can't believe that ovulation time is this weekend!! Where is the time going??

I know this is now beginning to be a super long post but I just wanted to share my news with you... I'm getting married!!!! In February next year. And we're going to do it.... Wait for it............ On a cruise ship!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

So that's why I'm not around as often. I'm planning and researching and going mad. I'm so excited!!

Hey Ladies

Haven't posted in a while, and I'm still trying to catch up. Seems like every time I'm close I lose track and then I have to find out what I missed.

How have all you ladies been?

I went to the doctor again last night, the twin is gone!!! The other baby is doing fine and right on track. The Doc wants to see me again in 3 weeks as he couldn’t measure the neck skin, and he saw something between the legs, but he doesn’t want to say for sure, he said it could go either way. So we’ll see next time.

I’m 10 weeks 5 days now. Started at a Personal trainer at the gym, he does exercise for pregnant women and I must say it’s great!!!

What you up to?

Morning ladies!

Thank you all for the concern and well wishes for Stevie (my cat). He didn't cry as much last night as the previous one, but still very sick. Just sleeping and moaning, he is not even bathing himself. Giving him the meds is of course quite a challenge, but we got through it last night and this morning. He at least attempted to wash his face this morning, but only 2 licks and went back to sleep. Shame!!!

Emsmom & Tracy - I don't feel different at all. Today is CD27, so AF is suppose to arrive tomorrow. I still have a blocked nose, I'm very hungry this morning and I thought my nipples felt sensitive the past 2 nights in the shower, but not getting my hopes up yet. I will test on Friday with FMU if no AF tomorrow. I really hope we are pregnant... shame, hubby wants to go for a SA if we are not.

Emsmom - when are you testing? Also Friday? Do you have any symptoms?

Tracy - sorry about AF and locking yourself out of the house. I have done that before and really not nice! :(

Laliek - hope you enjoyed your dinner last night. Can't wait to hear the results of your bloods! So holding everything crossed for you!

Ika - I'm sorry to hear that the FS is also not positive for this month anymore! But you are right, next cycle will be better with improved insulin levels and you not being sick!!! ;)

Kimika - lol @ car lost at Menlyn! Very funny! Now I know why I always check and make a note at exactly the place we park the once in a blue moon we go there. I don't like Menlyn, I prefer The Grove. How are you feeling? And when is your next scan?

Sue - still so sorry and I really hope you don't need another D&C!!!!

Tanasha - don't be afraid for the home birth, we can do it together! Must just work out our timing!

Everyone else - HI there, hope you are doing well!!!!! We need a lot of BFPs for AUgust!!!!

Have a great day!

xxxxx

Tracy, Ika, I'm so sorry about AF. Have faith that next month is your month.

Good luck Laliek, will be thinking of you today, praying you get your BFP!

AFM, I've now reached the point in the 2ww that I have to force myself not to POAS. My boobs are still tingling. I also strangly liked the smell of DH's coffee last night - I HATE coffee, the smell and taste.

Don't want to read to much into it, but can't help but be helpful. Only 4 more sleeps till I can test.

Morning ladies!

Tracy, so sorry about AF arriving. What is different about this AF? Is it just tht its heavier? Maybe this was a chemical pregnancy?sorry about u 2 being locked out- tht sucks!

Tanasha- I didn't know about home births there, that's interesting.

Sue- are u seeing the doc today?

Laliek- good luck with testing. I think its too early for both u and Ika so even if u get a negative, don't kill the positive thinking!

Guys, where is tanz? Tanz, are u still toi-toi-ing somewhere? :)

Meags, good luck for ur scan tom, I'm excited for u!

H-buzz, I agree, have faith. I pray this pregnancy will be fine and easy for you. Are u going to be fasting during Ramadaan? Lol, thankfully I live near both my mum and my MIL,and will eat with them often so I don't really need to do Ramadaan prep.hubby and I are both tryin to eat healthy so on the days we eat at home I'm going to do salad and food and no savouries.

Can't believe tht this time next year I will prob be in Boston (might need to do my own Ramadaan prep then!)

Ladies, I booked a physio appointment for this morning coz I get bad tension in my shoulders and yest woke up in spasm. But I miscalculated how much traffic thre wld be to fourways and now I've arrived about 50min early! Lucky I have moomie to keep me busy :)
