So sweet ladies, missing my little boy's so much now!
My youngest (9 months) crawls over to me and stretches his arms up for me to pick him up, once he is up he puts his little head on my shoulder and pats my back.... I then know that it's dudu time and carry him to his cot where he quietly goes to sleep.

Angelsmom we always have books in the house. All over in fact and from very young I used to sit with him and read. Some kids just like books I guess. He prefers them to toys. We were also fortunate to be given many books from friends with older kids. I now buy 2 books per month for him as a rule and we limit tv. We only started showing him barnie etc at about age 15 months. Maybe a bit before then but reading was more important for us as we love reading. Tv is only on on a sat morning. During the week we all sit with him in bed and read together.

Julz That picture is just too cute! I love that a book comforts him and I know this is off topic but how did you do it? Him loving books that is? I love reading and I would love my LG to love books from a young age!
