Hi ladies,

My 5month old LG has eczema all over her body including her scalp. We took her to the paed & was told to use zytec and nutruderm and epizone E to bath her with. The paed also suggested we remove LG hair, what do u ladies think?

I have been washing her hair with the epizone E & using the nutruderm fterwards but it is still very very flaky & dry.

Giggles i wont, try advantan cream on the head for 3 days it should clear it up. cutting the hair is a bit drastic i think.

I haven't realy taken Dewald into the sun yet. We are going away at the end of the month. I will need sunscreen for then. I thought of getting the one from the Annique range.

@ wilma, the pure beginnings baby stuff has tea tree in it. I also swear by the stuff. I use cloths dipped in water with diluted tea tree oil a wet wipes at home and they are great. I also put a few drops into my nappy bucket to help eliminate odours:)

@ Beatrix I use Environ Rad sunscreen. Unfortunately its only factor 16, but I try to make sure that James is in the shade/covered up wherever possible so its not too much of an issue. I also use it on myself. It contains no fragrence or preservatives which are the usual culprits when it comes to upsetting skin. I have also used the nivea baby, borrowed from a friend, but it seemed to cause a reaction...

What sunscreen do you ladies recommend for babies with eczema? I use Epizone A and E (and Advantan for bad patches), but they don't have a suncreen in the range.

Hi Ladies,
I started bathing Dewald with diluted teatree oil. Worked wonders. Nothing else worked. After bathing him in it I also rub it on the affected spots.
