NEW HUGGIES NOT SO GOLD

Angie - Is HDC, Huggies Dry Comfort? The Red packet? Coz the shop assistant at baby city told me to try those instead of the Huggies Gold coz other customers were happier with them instead.

I had the same problems with Huggies Gold, it was leaking and the green colour coming off onto the vests. I complained and was sent vouchers which I will only use next year once they hopefully sort the problem out.

I have since swopped to Pampers which isnt the greatest option coz after my daughter makes a wee in it the nappy starts to hang & sag badly.

So looking for an alternate option...

We were proud HG users from my LB was 3 months old, till about a month ago, I started having problems getting any HG no 5, old and new packs, then I got a few from a friend to try out - leaks day and night, I also tried Pampers Sleep and Play which was a total disaster.

We are now on HDC, we haven't looked back since, not one nappy has leacked, even the night time nappy, is very full in the morning, but no leaks!

So we are on the cheapies now, and very happy! we have extra money at the end of the month, and LB is dry and happy!!!! YAY!

Spoke to a friend of mine yesterday and she too was complaining about the new HG leaking.

I havent used the new HG yet as I still have old stock... I wonder if I should try the new HG and see how they will turn out or should I just change to Pampers????

Lucky u Charneray, I threw away my receipt and still have a unopened pack of 72 nappies

I also have the color coming off onto baby's clothes problem and called them today. They are getting TONS of these calls and sending everyone vouchers - costing them a fortune.

What she told me is that they are getting the materials from 2 different factories and that it seems not all the packs are doing this, so they are taking serial numbers, etc from everyone and trying to figure out where the problem is coming from.

Hopefully they get it right soon, but unfortunately not many will stick around and wait for them to get their act together. I just called Baby City and I luckily still have my till slip of all the sealed packs and I am taking it back and they are going to exchange it beccause they found old stock which they are holding for me. YEAH!!! I will use my voucher to buy the old stock (I see the checkers here still has the old stock on the floor).

And once those are done, its off to Pampers for us as well. I am not going to stick around and wait for my LG to get a nappy rash.

Maybe they mean the nappies are thinner so now they only take 1000 years to Biodegrade and not 2000. Sorry that was just something I couldn't resist.

Our kids' bums would have been eroded from nappy rash.
