Yes, something about running where angels fear to tread or something.... you must hear me when I have had a few glasses of wine, any restraint I feel is totally abandoned - I then ask questions that I would not ask normally as I feel they would be inappropriate.

I am sure I have a variation of Tourette's Sundrome!!

Struggling to juggle life, kids, work, my bottle of wine, without having a total humour failure.

I have a letter from my pdoc to say I am insane, so tread lightly with me, some days I can be a total bitch. I'm lying. Most days I am a total bitch.

I abhor smiley face icons. Just saying.

No problem, I like the fact that you ask these questions. most people are to "scared" to ask

Hi reluctant mom, I understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, but The reason I dont talk about myself is because it is the only way I know to cope right now and keep myself strong for the sake of my little boy and my girls.

I do go for counceling and that is when I release what I feel and when I am with Lior and my family and I feel the need to express, I do.

My mission right now is to stay positive and not focus on negativity and feeling sorry for myself, and for me it is about Lior and my "little notes to him" - yes I know sometimes I do stray from this, but this is my focus - basically for when Lior is no longer with us that I can look back and know what happened with him on a daily basis - good moments and not so good moments.

Besides, I know this is going to sound srtange to you, but my partner and I have not had any arguments, all though it is stressful, we talk - we dont shut down and I think even if we did have arguments, I dont think that I would put it on my blog.

At the end of the day, its not about me, its about Lior and Trisomy 18 and letting people know about this condition and how it affects a child

Butterflies, on a more personal level .... your posts are about your daily interactions with Lior and what you needed to do in terms of put A into B to get through the day.

Your blog does not really talk about how you feel, the way you have adjusted to a new baby in the house, what you are thinking, the issues you may have with your other children, the arguments you might have with your partner/husband, and how this process has changed you.

I found having a baby very traumatic, and the first 6 - 12 months pushed me emotionally psychologically and financially. I found when I added two siblings to the mix, I had another set of issues. Adding to that a husband who might not always be on the same page as me another issue.

The point I am trying to make, is that you appear like a person who has been through a bit, but you do not seem to express how you feel about it - you talk about Lior and that he is having a good or a bad day, but what about Butterflies what is going on with her amidst all of this?

I am also fine if you just ignore this post .... there is no need to add a reply comment, however I felt that I needed to comment.

Ok I think I am officially going nuts, this is the third time I have tried to post and somehow seem to lose it.

Thanks vickylee - we didnt have a fantastic night, Lior was niggly yesterday and then he had a slight seizure and we had to replace his feeding tube, so he wasnt too happy with us. But he settled very quickly and then was as happy as can be and decided he did not want to sleep so I only got him down after 1 this morning. So all considered we at least made it through the night. Have a heck of a headache today but I am sure I will manage, although I have a feeling it is going to be a verrrrry long day. Hope you are well and have a fantastic day
