Hi Charnenay. Just checked this threadd now to find out what the verdict was on your LG.

Lately, I have noticed my 11 month old LG just generally become more fussy and she cries a lot now. She never used to cry at all unless absolutely necessary. And even when she did, it was minimal. Just enough to get your attention for whatever was botherng her.

I'm not sure if she has now learnt that crying get her attention??? or if she is going through some kind of phase. She just is ALWAYS crying!!! She has learnt to climb onto the couch (sometimes with a little hel). but now our evenings consist of her crying to be helped onto the couch, then crying cos she wants to get down, then crying cos she wants to climb up again...then crying cos she wants to climb down...get the picture?

If you put her on the floor, she cries 1st before settling or playing with her toys. If you pick her up & sit with her on the couch, she cries and wants to get down!!!

It is quite frustrating. Is it a phase???

She doesn't show any signs of being sick so when it becomes a bit much, I give her a Sister Lillian chamomile crushed tablet or calpol but really I don't see any difference.

What does Nurofen do? what is it prescribed for? She isn't screaming hysterically. just ALWAYS moaning and crying and irritable.

Well its good news at least. They definitely seem to go through stages and it can be really challenging to keep your cool at 3am.
Keep the nurofen / ponstel handy as it may well be teeth and try let B take her in the morning that you can sleep in.

See you tomorrow!

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Charnenay hope you sleep better this weekend.

Im going thru the same right now, just with my princess she calms down & sleeps for longer wen I put her in our bed.
DH is furious with that saying Im getting her used to bad-behaviour of being in our bed. until her takes over and looks after a screaming baby at odd-hours of the morning . . .he should not dare
took her to Paed last week, and nothing wrong :(

hope things go back to normal soon

Nothing wrong with Emily :) she apparently just wanted me to give R600 to the paed.

Yaz, let's hope your theory is right and this thread has "unjinxed" me. I hope to have good news to report when I see you tomorrow.

My guy is in Table View which I'm sure is a total schlep for you. But he is really very good.

Let me know if you want the details.

Thats what I was thinking Kirstin, re: the sucking and her ears.

Well, DH is taking her to a paed at now - had appointment for 3, so I'll know soon enough.

If she really is sick, then I guess have to change the subject of my thread

Need to find a proped GP if I am going to use a GP for her in future because the 1 we currently use is really only good for giving dr. notes to get off work and for DH to get his blood pressure scripts from.
