Cats and babies

So sorry to hear about the attach Kirst. Hope he gets better soon.

I think all parents should remember that animals and children interacting must be supervised at all times.
We also have two dogs. They love my LG (17 months)and she loves them. I have noticed that LG does not know how to touch them gently, also sometimes trying to grab the tail. I am teaching her to be gentle, but she is just a baby snd the dogs are just animals.
Accidents can happen very quickly.

Does she maybe want another?

Shame man. You must have gotten a fright.

We have two big dogs and they are amazing with Dylan, but he is really gentle with them too.

The animal's personality does play a big role, I think. My cat is quite a moody old cat (although not usually violent at all) who doesn't like children too much. He's gone to a single lady in my complex who has no kids and who absolutely adores him, so that has at least worked out well.

Oh sorry to hear that, now you have me all paranoid

I also have a kitty and my son is almost 5 months old. but to date kitty has not even come near him, save to sleep with him in his cot. I had a fit about that, but nipped that in the bud very quickly.

I hope your son heals up quickly!

Kirst that is terrible! I am so sorry I am a cat lover and have 3 cats at home. I will watch them with baby. Thanks for the warning. Shame poor baby and poor kitty. And poor Mommy! xxx
