@ Enchanted Pixels according to Indian folk tales... the amber stones need to bask in the moonlight on each full moon in order for them to be cleansed and for healing to be restored unto them. They are healing beads which warm against the skin which is how they work. I just follow tradition...

Lata, I am so clueless, what happens on full moon nights?

Gia has been wearing hers since she was 3 months old... it has never beome caught on anything.

I dont take it off except on full moon nights.

We so used to seeing her wearing them that she actually looks bare without it now!

I am so waiting patiently for even just 1 tooth to appear

Leandi het ook 'n amber beads teething necklace en soos Marijke sê, die komentaars van mense is altyd interesant! Ek hou daarvan om my so bietjie aan hulle af te vee !

My ma het ook altyd met my gekarring daaroor en gesê sy lyk soos my een ouma wat altyd 'n choker dra. En nou nog as ek nie kyk nie haal sy hom uit haar voutjies uit dat hy mooi hang Maar nadat Leandi haar eerste 2 tande gelyk gesny het laas naweek, het sy aansienlik minder komentaar. My kind was nie moeilik nie, nie in 'n mislike bui nie, nie brand boude of suur doeke nie, net 'n bietjie ma vas, dis al. "Touch wood".

En toe ons in die dorp was oor die naweek en iemand vra weer oor die hangertjie toe het my ma vinnig ingespring en verduidelik wat dit is en hoe goed dit werk!
