Cloth is indeed very exciting. the daunting part fades away very quickly though

Seeing the nappies in real life compared to online makes a massive difference and makes understanding them much easier.
I found an idea from the fb page to buy fleece pants and customise them into covers by cutting the legs and sewing the thighs part. Lets hope that helps.
I must say starting this journey is exciting and daunting all together. Lets hope it works well.

StellaK - Thank you! Nelsn were talking about the cloth a bit more on our mommies by months group and she also suggested that I see someone in my area with samples. I am in Centurion and saw there is a lady in Irene, but wouldn't mind driving to pta-east to see you! I think I just want to get to my maternity leave (hopefully in 3 weeks time) and then I can make an appointment to come and see you.

I read through a few of the articles on the FB page, but missed the albums! Will go check it out! Thank you.

another thing i can recommend if your not sure (and probably the most useful thing of that facebook page) is go to the files section there is a file "newbies to cloth - moms by area" see if there is someone close to you and go visit her then you can see and feel the nappies. its so much nicer if you can see them.
the moms on that list are all extremely helpfull.

also in the photos, go to albums. they have started an album for each nappy brand and different moms upload their photos their so you can see how the nappies fit on different babies
