Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

so let me just get this right. do you just put the wet nappies from bum to bucket and close the lid?? does it not make a horrobil smell when you open for washing?

what about the poo nappies, do you put them in water?

i'm also buying some normal nappies. my boy are to big for them (or i just don't know how to use them on a bigger kid). if they work for the new baby. then i'll use those as well!

@HeleneS - you're not crazy at all!!! I even took a photo of the nappies drying on the line...

I use the BambinoMio nappies, but prefer the MotherNature w/p. I change my LG every 3 hours during the day, but use a disposable during the night.

Currently I'm still washing all my LG's things with Woolite, but plan on trying the PnP Green washing liquid soon. I also use a DriBuddy to dry them when there's no sunshine. I don't soak them, just keep it in a bucket with a lid and wash twice a week.

2kidmomma, when you press reply there is an option underneath the message box 'select image file to attach' then you just browse on your computer for the picture you want to post.

Be warned though that it won't show if it is bigger than 500 x 500 pixels so you would have to resize it. If you are having problems, feel free to mail it to me at marijke@moomie.co.za and I will post it for you :)
