Help- I'm officially a cloth nappy user!!

Skai, Pick 'n Pay and the other stores also sell Earthsap and Enchantrix products. I don't like the smell of the Blou blommetjies though. Tripple orange has a plant based softener in which is fine for your nappies in conjunction with regular stripping with Bicarb and Vinegar.

Thanks for the input on the essential oils. I have made it with Tea tree before when my Boy had a bad nappy rash and that worked well but I do prefer the smell of the lavender. I am not happy with the creams I made, I am going to have to buy more Beeswax and Cocoa butter. I really want Raw Shea butter but I can't find it anywhere. Cost wise Cocoa butter is really expensive and if I sell the product I don't want it to be one of those rediculously priced natural products. It must really be affordable. My base will either be Zinc & Beeswax or then Coconut oil and Beeswax with the essentials and the carrier oils.

I'll probably also try the bloublommetjies...nice and convenient seeing as they sell it in pick 'n pay! The Mother Nature website did mention that some people found it didn't clean their nappies enough but plenty of other people love it so definitely worth a try I also need to start using natural detergent on the rest of my clothes...tsk tks

I use Bloublommetjieskloof soapwort laundry detergent. I use it on all my washing. Smells nice

I've tried Triple orange (but that was before my cloth nappy days). In fact, I tried a whole lot of 'baby friendly' washing powders before my son was born.... lol

Bloublommetjie does the trick for me

The triple orange is a completely natural product so just 'acts' as a softener. It is one of the brands I've seen most recommended for cloth nappies...so shall wait and see if it works well or not. Thank you for your concern though...would hate to go and ruin my nappies (or my friends) by accident.
