Ashleigh I am not so good - my SIL and her family were camping from the Thursday and they have all the equipment so everything was set up when we got there

Zelf the hospital sounds really awesome! I love that they have beds for parents. Some hospitals just dont get that a parent doesnt want to leave their sick child.
My paed is awesome - she is so calm and takes time to explain everything so nicely. I always have to wait for my appointment cause she runs late (sometimes an hour) but I dont care because I know when my turn comes she doesnt rush me and listens and really checks my LG out.
When my LG was born she was so good and would sleep for hours - being 1st time parents this freaked my DH and I out but she was so good and listened and explained to my dh on the phone its normal

Ahhhhhhhh I also want to meet all of your!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in JHB will have to make a plan for the next 1

Zelf our Pead is also next to Zuid Afrikaans. Dr Tayler. We were also admitted there when Z was 3 weeks old. The private rooms are really nice. The only porblem for us its so far from home.

Vision, hope the pain is better after the physio! I love camping, grew up doing it, but DH is not much of a camper.

Maureen, we go to Zuid- Afrikaans Hospital with the kids, Their rooms are really nice, have a cot for the kids and bed for the parents, each kid has his/her own room. Luckily our paediatrician is next to the hospital. I told my mom again this weekend, we are so blessed with the paed, she is wonderful! The kids love her, and she cares about them. We were at the hospital on Friday evening after the concert, she saw us walking and called Ewan and enquired about the concert etc. Each time she see me, she ask about the pregnancy(even gave me her cell number in case the baby decides to come early and we can't get hold of her on Radiotel). You are planning alot of parties - enjoy!

Vision - I love camping. But its lots of work. So you have got guts going with your LO and being pregnant.
I also think with your 2nd pregnancy your aren't as focused on it because you have hands full already with the first born.

Maureen - Its so sad to hear of someone having a MC. Having been through one myself its still upsetting when hearing of someone that has had 1. I hope you can get hold of her just so that she know's you are thinking of her.
Chocolate cake would be so nice right now. I ate my lunch at 9 already .

Carlene - I dont mind him. He knows his job very well and checks everything and in his way explains what his doing. Enjoy your scan. Cant wait to see some pics.

Zel, so glad Janu is better.

Ashleigh, I’m sure you will be able to see the gender today. I almost think I was with Dr Lombaard as well, but I liked him. It seems like I feel more comfortable with the Dr’s with the “not so nice bedside manners.” Anyway, he really made an effort for us to see the gender of my LG, so I think he will do the same for you.

I'm also going for my scan this afternoon, but it is with my gynea. I will try and post some pic's again this afternoon.

Well, Vision I take my hat of for you, because I will not be able to go camping at the moment. No thank you.

My weekend was very nice. We “braai’ed” for National Braaidag, and on Sunday we had a kiddies B-day party in Centurion at the “trein parkie” or something like that. It was very nice and Emma really enjoyed the Train.

Well, maybe we must organize our get together then for the 15th of Oct. Any suggestions for a place to meet? I can suggest the Spur at Atterbury value Mart, they have a very nice place for the kids to play. Do you want to meet in the morning of the afternoon?

Zel - I am so sorry to hear that your weekend had to start off so bad. I am very happy that Janu is back at home. Kids bounce back so fast. Which hospital did you take him too?

We had a good weekend, got Jamie's new room sorted. Now just waiting for the bed railing I ordered from Calora to be delivered then I move him into his new room this week still!

My DH, nephew's wife, had a misscarriage on Thursday, I feel so bad for them, they have been trying for 3 years now to get pregnant. I tried bbm'ing her but haven't gotten a response yet, so will wait and then phone her later this week!

We have a babyshower on this weekend, and I am hectically planning the babyshower for one of the girls at work for next Friday, and then also doing the planning of the Christmas Party for the kids at work. So busy, busy me. Also struggling to close off one of our projects! It is due to so many things going wrong, and so many people out of office.

Having chocolate cake for breakfast....yummy!
