Ahhh Zelf I am so sorry about these hectic few weeks you have been having. I am so glad Janu is feeling better - it must have been aweful to have him in hospital on his 1st birthday and cancel the party. I am hope you are feeling better today!

Ashleigh so exciting about your scan - cant wait to hear the news. Hope the Dr. is niceand everthing goes well!!!! It is crazy how time is flying. I used to count down the days with my daughter and now weeks are going by - i think it is usually busier with your 2nd pregnancy

Went camping this weekend - my LG had a ball she LOVES being outside but was so exhausted by last night. I dont like camping much but persevered
Still have MS but am coping. Coke really helps - did with my 1st pregnancy too.
Going for physio - woke up with hectic neck pain again so am glad i have it today

Yes, Dr Lombaard doesn't have much of a bedside manner, but at least he is good! We went to him with both Ewan and Janu's assessments, and by chance landed with Dr Farrel with this baby. She explains everything in much more detail than him, but in the end they both check the same things, and thats what counts!

Ladies I am also free 08/10 or 15/10 for a meet.

So glad to hear that he is much better.

I wish I was seeing her. But my appointment is with male doc there. He doesnt have much of bedside manner. So lets hope he tries his best to check. But I'm sure he will because he checks everything in detail.

That must be so fustrating going into your office on a Monday to a mess.

Morning Girls

Janu is much, much better thanks Ashleigh. He got send home yesterday, we must just take him to physio till Wednesday and steam 5 times/day. But he is playing and climbing over everything as if nothing is wrong!

Your trip yesterday sounds so nice, we also want do something like that, but have not found the time yet!

Congrats on the half way mark! I am sure you would be able to see the gender this afternoon, if you are going to Dr Farrel, she will try everything to see!

They came to install a network box in my office on Friday while I were not here - needless to say it is one big mess! They moved my table against my cupboards, now they can't move the table back, because the box is in the way! They were told on Friday to come early to come and fix it, but no one has arrived yet!!

Zelf - Sorry to hear abour Janu. How is he doing today? Is he still in Hospital?

So I am half way. I cant believe how fast time has flown by. I cant wait for this afternoon. Will be going for the fetal assesment, I hope we can confirm the baby's gender.

We had a nice Sunday. We took the gautrain to Rosebank. Had breakfast then went to the roof top market. From there we went to Sandton to Nelson Mandela square then back to Hatfield. It was a nice outing to experience the train. Ruan really enjoyed it.

How was everyone else's weekend?

Well, on Friday I eventually had to phone my husband to fetch Janu from school, they could not get his temp down. Rushed from my meeting to meet them at the doctor, with the result that Janu is in hospital with pneumonia!
I had such an emotional day! He missed his first school concert( I cried so much when his class the little Frogs came on stage - the people who don't know me and the situation must have thought Crazy Women). We had to arrange for my SIL to come and sit with him at hospital, I never leave them alone at hospital, so that we can go to the concert, because it was Ewan's last concert, and he was King! Hubby slept with Janu at the hospital, and my mom came and stay with me( they don't want to leave me alone!) I passed out at 10, think I was more emotionally tired than physically!
Had to cancel his birthday party on Saturday, took the cake to hospital, and just shared with all.
At least Janu is looking much better, the phlem is getting loose from the physio(which he hates!), hopefully he can go home today(Sunday).
