I had 2 very good experiences at Kloof. My sister -in - law was not happy at all at Pta East. But that said, I do think it all depends who's on duty that day, and every person has different needs!

So I almost “klap” the clinic auntie from clicks this afternoon. I asked her to check my bloodpressure and she asked me how far along am I. I said almost 19weeks and we talked a bit and I said that I’m struggling with water retention and she said, Yes she can see, I look a lot further than 19weeks. Yes I know that I look fat and like I swallowed a soccer ball from last year’s world cup, either she only had one child or she was one of those lucky people who only pick up like 5kg and look like they swallowed a pea. I cannot help that I got my grandmothers genes and that I pick up 2kg just by looking at a chocolate and 4kg if I actually eat the thing.
Well, enough said, my BP was still fine, a bit higher than normal, but not dangerously high. It was 146 over 81. I know with Emma the doc put me on meds when it was 150 over 90.

Yes, Ashleigh we go there about every afternoon after work. Usually round about 4h. We are so excited about our dream house.

I had my LG at Kloof, but I was not very happy with the new gyne. My gyne moved to Australia, so now I’m with Dr Trouw at Pta East. I was considering your gyne, but, we decided that we will go to Pta East. My friend was at Kloof 2weeks ago with the birth of her LG, and she was really not happy with the hospital. First they didn’t phone the Doctor for the epidural in time, so she had nothing, and then they just left her and her baby in the recovery room for almost an hour. The baby was born 7h30 the morning, they only came to fetch her baby to get bath about 12h that afternoon. And she also said that she had to ask 4times for water. And she said almost everybody complained. But hey, my experience with Kloof was OK. I know that you will get a VERY NICE bag this time around.

Zelf, I know that Maureen is also from Pta. I don’t know who else. Maybe when Maureen is back from her holiday we can try and organize something.

Hi Ladies.

Shjo! I've been gone a week! Our trip was quite nice. My hubby arranged a bday party for me there. (surprise!!) Even though my bday is only today. So naturally he forgot my birthday today. haha. Was sooo funny when he phoned me later this morning sounding all embarresed. Ruan sang my ears off the whole morning. His version of happy birthday, so sweet. lol.

Yes, really a small world. Must say, I love the "plaas atmosfeer" in Rietvlei View and Grootfontein. We currently stay in 615Pam str and will be moving to Warrick 304. I think you will see the building in process when you pass there to drop of you LB. Emma will also be going to Kierriebeentjies from January. We went to Natures Kids as well, but funny, she was afraid of the "tannie" there, at first I thought that it was because she was tired, but we went to Kierriebeentjies after that and she was fine with that lady. I will be on the lookout for your house. Maybe we can visit each other when we are on maternity leave. But before that I would like to meet the rest of the ladies aswell. How do you feel about that Zelf?
