Well, we went to the fetal specialist yesterday for the 20 week scan. It was so good to see our little girl again, and she weighs about 340 grams now. All was fine, till we came to her feet. It looks like she has club feet, my heart was so sore yesterday. But, like everybody keeps telling me, at least it’s something treatable. Will speak to Gynae about it at the end of the month, see who he recommends, will speak to our paediatrician as well.

2. Total weight gain/loss: About 1 kg
3. Maternity clothes?Yes, definitely the pants!
4. Sleep: I am sleeping really well this week, which is strange.
5. Best moment this week: Seeing our little daughter again at the scan, although with the good was some bad.

Welcome Posh. I am also suffering with MS and am hoping it will go in 2 weeks time when I am 12 weeks along. I do find that it is worse when I am tired

Time is just flying now.... my big girl turns 9 next week. I cant wait ofr her party on Saturday. I have been planning it, she wanted a tea party so I have ordered all these cute cakes etc. I want to make it super special for her as she has been feeling a bit left out since MG arrived, having been the only child for 8 years it is hard to now share the attention.

SO the building is driving me nuts. It is going quickly but not quick enough. They should put my kitchen in by the end of the week... YAY!!! ANd then it is just the painting and tiling left. I am so over the smell of plaster.... it smells like cat pee at times!!!

MG is also so cute. Shiloe told her she must kiss the baba in mama's tummy so now when she sits on my lap she leans forward and kisses my tummy.

I feel alot better about the gender. Guess I was a bit emotional as well . It took a while for LB to get used to the idea hehe. I am starting to love the idea of another boy more every minute!!!!

Carlene, my one is also talking to the baby brother and kissing my tummy. Yesterday we werein the car and DH was speeding up a bit. Not fast but the change of pase was enough for LO to put his hand on my tummy saying. "Toema baba ek hou jou ogies toe!" It is soooooo cute.

Hmmmm who did the updating last time? And we have a lot more mommies to add!

We are going away to visit ouma and oupa. LO has been crying the whole day. He doesn't want to wait till tomorrow. He wants to go now!!! Uuuug. and I have so much to do. I do not like leaving things undone when we go away and I still have to find someone trustworthy to come and house sit! Maybe my brother..... will have to see.

Welcome Posh, hope you enjoy your stay with us. The MS is normal. I had All Day sickness from 4weeks, up until 15weeks and ended each day with a visit to the bathroom. It changed now to MS with a visit to the bathroom first thing in the morning, and not for a wee. But to ... ... But it does get better. Is this your first pregnancy?

Jolene, how did the scan go? Could you get a good look at you LO?

Zelf, glad your LB is better and congrats on the 20wks mark. I have 2wks and 2 days to go.

Carol, congrats on the boy. I had very mixed feelings about the gender of my baby. For my DH sake, I wanted a boy, but I was so scared, because I do not know anything about raising boys. And I think your 2 boys will become good friends.

Auwh Cakes, baby kitties are so cute. My cat disappeared about 3months ago. I was heartbroken.

My LG is so cute now. We told her she is getting a baby sister, and she told her sister over the weekend “Lief vir jou sussie” and she “gave” her a “kiss”

Posh it is very normal even though it is one of the worst symptoms of pregnancy. It should hopefully pass in a few weeks. Just make sure you stay hydrated. Try eating plain crackers also just to get something in.

Zelf so glad the operation for your LB went well! Congrats on the halfway mark!

How is everyone else feeling?

AFM I seem to be over the worst of the MS (hopefully!!!! ) and my cold is almost gone Just still so tired alllll of the time. My LG is such a busy bee but she is so sweet. Had a lovely picnic at the botanical gardens on saturday.
