Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

Vision, yes we know - a girl. We have 2 boys, and I must say the oldest and daddy are very excited about "sussie"(and of course me as well!).

With each pregnancy I bought home pregnancy tests, and we waited together for the results. With this pregnancy it was just a bit of a shocker for my husband, because this was a TOTALLY unplanned pregnancy. I was in tears, but DH was so relaxed and just calmed me and told me if it's meant to be, then so be it!

How did all of you tell your partner/DH/boyfriend that you were expecting?

I must tell you ladies how cute MG has been, she will be 14 months on Monday. I showed her my tummy and told her mommy has a baby in her here. SO now if she sits on my lap and I ask her where mommy's baby is she will lift up my shirt and push on my tummy...

Wow Zel- you are 17 weeks already, almost half way!!!! Post some pics of your bump.
We did a bug theme for McKeilagh's room and did it out so nicely for a baby that we have decided to leave that room as the nursery and redo the other room for her. Maybe make it pretty pink for her. My oldest daughter will get the new room as this will be the biggest of the three and we will redo it for her too.

Ladies this MS is really getting to me. I was determined that since this will be my last pregnancy I would enjoy every minute. Well that is just not possible... I bought some Happy event as my tummy is really popping out and I cant use it as the scent makes me feel so ill. So that is wasted, I then bought some Johnsons tissue oil as this is in a spray bottle.
Going to have my hair done this afternoon so hopefully that will make me feel much better. Mom2be- it is fine to colour your hair just make sure you are in a well ventilated area and if you are using peroxide dont sit under the hooded dryers. Its the fumes you have to watch out for.

I am really enjoying this pregnancy now, my tummy is big - but at least I know baby is growing nicely! Started looking at bedding and decor, but I have no idea what I want!

Thanks for all the feedback ladies I think I will wait to speak to my Gynae on the 22nd but he is sooo laid back so I have a feeling he will be like "Ja do it"!! Will get my friend to do it outside in the garden if I do decide to go ahead but at least it is not a full head colour just the underneath that i like darker (brown) than my normal blonde on top to give it a bit of a kick

Cookie so sorry to hear about your friend's loss, how heartbreaking.

About colouring your hair, it wont cause harm to the baby, but be careful, because when you colour your hair while preggies comes it out weird. I have blonde hair, and sometimes it goes to dark blonde when I dont get into the sun often enough, so coloured my hair while I was preggies with my son (didn't know it at the time) and it came out red, as in carrot. Was a bit of a shock.

Juandre congrats on the results-awesome...need to get my A in G and pick up my studies again.

Not much going on my side, except that it seems like DH and I might kill one another before this 9 months are out...he is just being a total ass.hole.
