I am so tired. My LG was awake for most of lost night coughing. I woke up this morning with a terrible headache. And at work it has been very hectic. There is only a few of us that do all the work and the rest are just there for the joyride. And my MS came back with a BANG. Not nice.

Cookie, so sorry about your friend. One of my friends, she is diabetic, she lost her first baby at 12wks and the second one, the week before her scheduled C-sec, because the doctor didn’t tell her that she needs to be monitored. She went to the doctor because she didn’t feel any movement and they couldn’t get a heart beat. So she had to go through the c-section and all that pain and couldn’t show anything for it. I felt so sorry for her. But, I think you must just be there for your friend when she is ready to face the world.
My SIL is a hairdresser and I asked her and she said in the old days it wasn’t safe, but now it is safe to color and highlight. I also asked my gyne and she said it is fine, because that coloring will not reach your baby. But if you are unsure, just ask your gyne or doctor.

Juandre, I’m glad that I’m not you with all the renovations. Congrats on your test results. Don’t know how I will cope with studying and that with a little one running around.

Cakes, enjoy your visit to the gyne tomorrow. Mine is only on the 24th of Aug. Then I will be 17wks, hopefully we will be able to see of it s Blue of pink.

Mom2B and Juandre. My friends mom is a hairdresser and she said that it's best not to especially if you have had a miscariage or any problems in the past is this could harm your baby. I would not advise you to go.

Mom2be- it is fine, yes. Having mine done tomorrow. What you have to watch out for is the fumes so if you are using peroxide to make your hair blond, make sure you are somewhere well ventlatede and don't sit under one of those hood dryers.

I wanted to find out if any of you know if it is a no no to dye your hair with Pregnant? I did not even think about it and my friend said to check first??

Mom2b -Lucky you! I still have two weeks to go. My friend got the gender at 12weeks. So hope you can see it too! And your dad will be there, so what a bonus it would be if they can see if its blue or pink!!!!!!

Chubbychick- that is great if they are so active when you go for a scan! Then you are so amazed that theres something moving and growing inside you! even though you cannot feel it yet! Makes it more real!

Morning Ladies,

Im so so tired MG is teething badly and has not been sleeping well. DH is so grumpy about not getting enough sleep and that makes it worse.

Vision- the 4 weeks between scans is terrible. I wish we could visit dr every 2 weeks.

Next week I need to register on the Momentum maternity- then I get 2 scans and 12 visits to the gynie. It means I dont use my savings for these visits. Although I think the blood tests still come out of the savings.
DH wants me to book my private ward at the hospital now..hehe... I told him we have to wait until later when I book my bed.

I wrote an exam on 15th July, was so worried about the results as the pass mark was 70%. I got my results back yesterday and I got 83%... so stoked as I havent written an exam since Varsity which was 12 years ago.
