Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

I think I’m 35 now. Will be 36 when LO is born. This is definitely my last pregnancy, my DH wants 3 children, but I told him if he wants a 3rd one, then he will have to carry the baby for 9mnths AND deliver it, I’m not going through this again. Otherwise we can adopt.

I did the home test with my LG early on a Saturday morning and got a positive. So I went to him and told him he’s going to be a daddy and he actually thought I was talking about our Labrador who was pregnant. With this one we decided to start TTC in May, so the end of May he came to me and asked me: “ So het jy gevat?” I almost slapped him. I’m not a Ford. So I did the test 3days before my period was supposed to happen and got a very light positive. Did test for the next 5 days and everyday it got darker. But I told him on the first day.

Enjoy your weekend ladies. I’m sick AGAIN and I’m getting G**Vol of being sick. So I'm staying in bed this weekend. Tell me, am I allowed to drink CalC-Vita during pregnancy?

Hi all. Been very busy and haven't been
feeling so well. 13 weeks today. I turned
28 on Tuesday so will be 28 when Milah arrives.
DH was in church when I did the test and
just told him when he came back he was
very excited. He's been begging me the last
year to go off the pil but we had a couple of
things we needed to sort out first so finally
went off the pill in feb.

Morning everyone and sorry for being so scarce! its been busy at work because of the shortened week.

Just wanted to share my 'telling the DH' story.
I found out a couple of days before father's day... so I gave him his fathers day card early and signed it 'from Justine, Ben and new little bean' It actually took him a while to click! (think he skim read it the first time!)
We're both really happy and excited. i think the mishap in Jan made us realise how much we want a sibling for ben.

Im 35, will be 36 when this one is born. so this will probably be the last for me.

Morning Ladies!!

Well my pregnancy brain nearly got me to miss my flight I had organised a friend to collect me at half 1 and my flight actually leaves at 2 so luckily I checked the times again!! Really looking forward to getting away for a few days and woke up to cold and rain here in CT today so yay for nice weather in Joburg!!

Vision i got the call from the Labs and I told myself I would wait but I walked straight upstairs and before I knew it i had blabbed and said to him Honey I Pregnant....followed by a very long silence NICE!!!

Hi ladies!

I bought Emex yesterday for the MS and when I woke up "naar" this morning I drank 10ml of it and the MS was gone! I haven't feel sick since. Maybe it will work for some of you as well. It is safe during early pregnancy and is really cheap for 200ml. All that I am left with now is this terrible headache.

I tested the 22nd of June (bloods) and it was negative. So I told my DH it is negative. A week later on the 29th of June I went to town and bought a POAS since I still felt pregnant and it was a BFP. So I phoned my DH and told him over the phone!

Juandre - My LG is 14 months tomorrow! We did a Pooh theme for Chloé and now it will stay the nursery and we will also move Chloé to the bigger room and make it a pink princess theme. Already bought some of the stuff (small things).

How old are all of you? I am turning 30 on Christmas Day. So will have my second child when I am 30.
