Sorry for being MIA. Had to work on Monday. Will be going down to the Cape end of August and first week in September for farmers' days.

Cookie - SO SORRY to hear about your friend and yes I agree, the best thing you can do for her is to be available whenever she wants to talk about it!

M2B - First grandchild!!! Your father is going to be super impressed. Chloé was my dad's first grandchild also and he adores her more than anything! Enjoy the visit!

Juandre - Sorry about the MS! Hope it gets better soon! Have you tried Emex? They say it works wonders and is safe to use in early pregnancy.

AFM - Worst headaches ever, 24/7. And to be serious, Panados just isn't doing it. Tried to get hold of Tylenol extended relieve, but it has been out of stock for more than 3 months now. As for the MS, still get sick a lot, can't wipe my LG's nose or change her nappies, then I need to run to the loo. I wake up in the mornings feeling naar. Argh! Anyway, hope it leaves at 12 weeks. Just went for a quick check-up today at the GP, did a sonar and the LO was bouncing up and down and squirming and kicking. It stays soo beautiful to see.

Right ladies I was so jealous of you all going for your scans that i cancelled my 14 week scan and booked for a 12 week one instead going on Monday the 22nd so just 12 more days to wait!! also have a 4D scan booked for 20 weeks that i got at half price so that will cover one of my normal scans Very excited now!!

Cookie I am so sorry about your friend that is such a terrible shock and I hope she is strong enough to get through this

I still have 3 weeks to wait till my next scan at 14 weeks as we went at 9 weeks so did not want to waste a scan at 12 weeks but this waiting is soooo hard!! We are sending out an email to all our friends and family next Sunday when I am finally 12 weeks so holding fingers until then that all is fine!!

Shame Juandre building is such a pain I don't envy you and hope they hurry up and you can have your house back to yourself soon!! I am also super grumpy at the moment and keep shouting at my hubby (he is in Joburg now so he is enjoying the peace until I arrive on Friday

Zee that is fantastic news I cant wait for my scan on the 31st!! My dad arrives from Zim next Tuesday until the 1st Sept so will take him to the scan the day before he leaves to see his first grandchild!!

OMW Cookie monster, I am so sorry for your friend. Why didnt they do a c-section? I think just being there for your freind when she is ready is all you can do. It is good to moarn and she needs her space to do that. Just let her know that you love her and am there for her day and night.

Carol- I also have 2 more weeks. I am soooo impatient and am battling with this looong wait. When I made the appointment I had 5 weeks to wait but it is down to 2 now so time is moving...

We had a hectic long weekend. We start renovations today. We are moving our kitchen into our dining room and putting up a wall to make the kitchen a 4th bedroom. Then the lounge will become the dinningroom and we are breaking through into the garage closest to the house (we have 3 garages and only need 2) and this will be our lounge. The office which is attached to the garage is also being included so we had to clean up the office and move all the stuff to my hubby's new office. All this with a 14 month old running around... They will start with the lounge so we will have a kitchen for a few more days and then will be without one for I estimate 2 weeks- I am dreading this

I am really battling with this MS though. I was in bed on Friday afternoon and saturday morning... I am just soooo nar all the time. ANd I am soooo cranky- my poor hubby and kids are really getting it.

@Cookie am sorry my dear i cant imagine what your friend is going through it must the worst time of her life losing a child after carrying her for 9 months .She needs to be strong and she needs her friends now more than ever she needs to surrond herself with people who care about her
