Happy friday everyone!

Cookie that is nothing, paid R1056.00 for consultation yesterday. Cash...and can only claim it back from MA next week once pregnancy is registered.
Why did you go off MA?
Shame Ash, hope you okay today?
Justine, Dr D actually said yesterday that I dont need a midwife, it is my choice but seems rather silly that I pay double. What he said made sense. he said had I done natural last time then a midwife would be good, but seeying as he has to keep a close eye one me midwife is going to be an uncessary costs.
They give you a hectic list of things that you need to be aware of though. Not allowed pain meds, have to have a catheter inserted, have to lie in bed to be constantly monitored...scary.

Morning Ladies,

OMW i nearly had heart attack when i phoned the gynie now. Only date open is the 29 July and its going to cost me R855  Wow thats alot, im in total shock. Why o why did i go off medical aid :(

I didn't like the way the previous gynie spoke to me, so i am going back to the same gynie that i was with when i had my daughter. But wow expensive s**%.

Ashleigh - Hope you feel better from the fall, you need to take extra care of yourself now.

I am hoping for a boy...but hey if i have a girl, thats not a problem just have to try again till i have my boy...lol just kidding.

Going for natural again as i did with my LG.

People keep asking me if im not carrying twins, i just give them a dirty look and say yes...1 in my tummy and 1 in my bum

Enjoy your day ladies

So glad its friday. Silly me, I fell of my chair at work yesterday. Of course i laughed, but later on i was a bit stressed coz my back really hurt as well the lower part of my tummy. But last night i felt fine again.

We want to know if its a boy or girl. Cant wait 2 find out.

Justine - That is so funny , that the vending machine is "helping you"

We have decided not to find out about LG or LB , at least a little surprise - I am seriously hoping my gynie with go natural for me , I dont know if I mentioned it before , Porridge brain, my daughter was natural and she was breach , so really see no reason y not.

I had a serious bout of nausea on my way home from work so I totally feel for you girls that are suffering with MS.

Ok , gonna try sleep early tonight , early appointment with the Gynie :woohoo:

Lollipop, you are one day ahead of me!
so glad you are happy with Dr Dumbril. I really do think you've chosen one of the few doctors in the cape town area that will give you the best chance.

Carlene, hope your doctor is equally 'open minded'

All this talk about double choc mousse cakes briefly caused me to submit to temptation. i tried to buy a chocolate from a vending machine at my work, but it got stuck on another row and wouldnt come out! you can imagine the frustration, pounding etc... i even co-erced a colleague to try and rock the machine to make it fall out. maby there is a force at work trying to protect me from myself! :)

Lolliepop,
I'm so glad there is more girls like me, wanting to have the Vbac. Hope to get the same response from Dr Trouw as my current gyne just said NO WAY.

Sorry Cookie, my "lus" is now over. Had some nice cold flavoured water and I felt better. Luckily for me I don't have any craving. The cake just sounds so nice.

Hi everyone!

Welcome to all the new ladies, here's hoping it will be a happy healthy pregnancy.

Haven't had time to catch up on everyone's posts, but just wanted to let you know I went for my first scan, and officially I am 7wk4d along. EDD is now the 24th Feb.
Dr Dumbril is brilliant, so impressed with him. He said that there should be no reason why I can't do a VBAC.
