Justine - I am going on the 26th for my 12 week check up as well as the downs test and other bloodtest, I don't remember what they are all for. I can't wait any more.

Am I the only one in Gauteng?

So DH and I am a bit irratable with each other at the moment, and I am writing it off as hormones. It just bugs me when we aren't 100% happy with each other. And I have let my nanny go for end of August. Then everything falls on me to do again, not looking forward to it at all. But when the money is tight you make sacrifices. It just feels like it is me making all the sacrifices and DH none. Well that was my rant for the day.

Good day Ladies!

Mom2b - very glad to hear all is fine :) and the scan went well. Sorry about the persistant bleeding. Uuggghhh must be terrifying!. Atleast DH is there :) Just keep resting!

Chubbychick and maureen- so glad I am not alone! People prop think you are further along than you are telling them. LOL. I have loose fitting jeans, but I need to wear a belt. Now I cannot cause the belt makes it all tooo tight.

We had a 2 week visit (inlaws) as well. I cannot really complain. My MIL is the greatest, just FIL that I bump heads with. But they left this morning so we can get back to our own routine. Hmmmm...

Just 7 weeks and a couple of days, but it feels so much longer. I live in the southern suburbs CT, in Meadowrige. and you?

By the way, how about putting all your messed clothes in a bucket with Biotex to soak overnight? I swear, if you wash them normally the next day you'd never know they were stained.

Gosh- i sound so 'domesticated' and Im not really

Thanks Justine ya I hear you about the pads and I am going through them quick stix at the moment!! Hoping it is just because the Dr removed the clot and it will subside by tonight otherwise I will have a long night ahead. Am rushing to the loo every 1 mins or so at the moment much to the amusement of DH!!!

how far along are you now and where do you live in CT?

Hi Mom2B, so glad to hear your good news. Im sorry about the bleeding though. It must be very uncomfortable. i bled for 3 weeks after the birth of my son and its was HORRIBLE. particularly having to wear a pad. i hate pads. lets hope it stops soon.

wow Maureen, already over 10 weeks! wish i was that far along. when are you going for your next scan?

Hi Debbie, Lollipop, ChubbyChick, glad to hear everyone had good weekends :) its the most beautiful weather here in cape town. its a complete SIN to have to be behind a computer in aircon office.
