Hi ladies,

I am still alive, well just. Had the cold & flu twice this month, diarree for 5 days and is currently sick again. I just can't win! I am 25weeks 3days today. My LB is kicking away, clearly doesn't feel as crap as his mommy. The work isn't helping either, as I have to inform my supervisor about deadlines although it is suppose to be the other way round

Only work halfday tomorrow, going to Drakensville for the weekend. It's my DH 's yearend function. Really don't feel up to it at this stage...

Carlene - Sorry about the domestic. They can make live hell for a person.

Maureen - Congrats on the house!

Zelf - Sho, 3 January, right around the corner! I also hope she sticks till then.

Cakes, you looked lovely on your wedding day! As long as you feel the flutters I am sure everything is fine!

Carlene, I am thinking your previous domestic is taking one hell of a chance. She drossed from work - so she has no case against you! But the nerve!!! You know - I understand that you sometimes forget to RSVP - and with this preggy brain anything is possible. But what peeves me off, is that it is every year the same people that I have to contact to find out. I sms'ed yesterday morning, and this one lady still hasn't answered. Last year she answered 2 days before the party that they are going to attend . The boy is also very bad mannered and we actually told Ewan last week he mustn't play with him if he is not behaving! But, it's not the little boy's fault, it's the example he gets from home!

Yes Ashleigh, I also hopes she enjoys the time in Mummy's tummy so much that she will stay where she are till at least 01 Jan!

Okay have to arrange my bed for the 3rd now with the receptionist, she has already left yesterday when we finished at the Gynae. Also have to find out if our Paed is available that day, we would like her to do the birth, and look after Millay.

Zelf - So glad Millay is over 2kg! Lets hope she stays put until your docter is back from holiday.

Carlene - Dont get yourself worked up over the domestic. You really went out your way to look after her regarding a place to stay and 3 meals a day. Its not your fault that she did not want to sign the contract.

Was at Gynae, and Millay weighs just over 2kgs. Dr is happy. Got the injection for the lung maturaty, and it was not too bad! Seeing him on the 6th Dec again. He is going on leave from the 13th- 30th,so I'm going to back-up Gynae during that period. I really pray she stays inside during that period! He decided not to do any surgeries the Monday(2nd) or the Thursday(5th) like he normally does, but rather only on the 3rd, so C-Section booked for the 3rd!

My back is killing me. I wish I could bring my chair tomorrow, but I can’t carry the chair up the stairs. And the men around here are useless. It is only the IT guys that will help, but they are somewhere else, I don’t know where. So we will come on Saturday, then DH can carry the chair.

Well, I got home yesterday afternoon and unpacked all the Christmas decorations I bought, and then I wanted to defrost some meat to cook last night. Then I realized there is no POWER. We waited about till 5h and then we went to McDonalds.

I’m furious at the moment. I received a call from my domestic that disappeared on me a while back. Now all of a sudden she wants her job back. So I told her I have found someone new that’s working for me. Then she said something about CCMA and me not paying over the UIF. But I asked her a few times to sign the contract and she refused. Now she’s telling me I was paying her not enough. She worked 2 days a week for me. So that gives you 16 hours. I paid her R120 per day, plus she was staying for free, and I gave her a cooked meal every night and if we went out for take-outs I always bought her the same as we having. And I bought her a bag of meal a month and she could eat bread during the day. So in other words she actually got 3 meals a day, plus free accommodation and now she tells me I didn’t pay her enough. Anyway, let me stop, otherwise I’m going to work myself up.

Zel, I also have that problem with the RSVP, but I feel so bad, I forgot to RSVP for my friends babyshower. Or actually, her sister sms’ed everybody to ask if the 10th of Des will be fine for us for a babyshower. So I replied that it is fine with me, I will be there. So when I got the sms with the actual invitation, I didn’t reply right away, because according to me I already replied. And she sms’ed me on Friday again to ask if I’m coming, so I just blamed it on the “preggy brain”.

Heather, your photo’s is lovely. I also want to go for photo’s, but I’s so fat so I don’t think I will like the photo’s.

Zel, that is one of my pet peeves! Now with planning the Children's Christmas Party at work, my babyshower, my moms Christmas lunch and my sister babyshower. I spend hundreds of rands on phone calls and sms's! I hate it. I am always first to let people know we are coming or not, it is the polite thing to do.
