I'm so glad my Gyne only charge R271 per visit and for the 20wks one it was R650 because of the in detailed scan.

Angi I'm glad your baby is growing nicely:)

Carlene the MAM bottles dont need a steriliser. You assemble the bottle in a certain way, add some water and I think its about 1-2 minutes in the microwave and its sterilised. Nifty to have when on the go or travelling....dont have to worry about a steriliser. I used MAM with Addison...LOVED them...no colic or winds..so was pleased to pay so little for 3 bottles!! I just bought 2 small ones a week ago for R80 each!

Zel I have very considerate gynae. I hear the first consult is R800, then R600 per visit. When u get to 2 weekly he charges R400 per visit. My medical aid also kaput. Owe so much money to previous gynae, GP and pathology....get sad thinking about it:( All for a good cause hey??

Vision congrats on team PINK!!!!!! 63kgs??? *sigh* I'll never weigh that in my life! lol. WEll done on the low weight gain. I have daily nose bleeds. I sneezed one day in bathroom and just so happens my sister had monthlies....I was so disgusted cause I looked at wall and saw all this blood! Was just about to call her when I realised that it was me and my sneeze! Sometimes its alot of blood...some days not too much. Thanks for lovely comments re: Addison:) Her hair is very long...but coloured hair is high maintenance! lol. Need to cut her tips soon.

AFM...I'm well. Hubby busy painting our room today...not sure where I'm going to sleep tonight! Our sleigh bed gets delivered tomorrow. Still deciding on a mattress....there are so many options!! Trying to make the place look nicer before December and influx of visitors to see baby....

Addison has a bit of a cough....treating it with prospan and hoping it goes away. She is not sick as in looking or acting sick...but I'm so stumped as sick once in 2yrs and now she's been sick 3 times on 6 weeks??? This weird PE weather i think:(

It was our anniversary the weekend...I ended up buying hubby nothing AS WE AGREED! He of course didnt listen and got me lovely roses and a digital photo frame. Took me for supper to a lovely restaurant where we had scallops and rack of lamb...I was really spoilt:)

Angi - I also thought all the Medi-Clinics had the same stuff. I will check tonight in my little booklet - it's a generic one for all the Medi Clinics. I just had to book my bed, and report to the Maternity ward, then I got a voucher for the scan.

Just phoned the radiology department to find out bout the 4D scan etc, acc to the woman I spoke to we have to pay for it don't get a free scan, but shouldn't every Med-clinic offer the same stuff...

Sorry vir being MIA! Not going to do any personals, as I got lost a long time ago and it will take ages to do them.

I am still alive, although just! We are so busy at work. Have our annual Farmers' Day tomorrow and tonight the sponsorsfunction - too which I was invited. Only problem - I HAVE NO FORMAL CLOTHES THAT FIT! But anyway, will wear what fits.

Went to the gynae yesterday as my urine smelled sweet since last week Friday (SORRY TMI) and I am afraid of gestational diabetes. They tested my urine and all is still good. No sugar in the urine. Phew!

De Wet is kicking up a storm. So busy! I slept through last night, what a gift!!!!

Anyway, my next official appt is 6 December and my 4D is 14 December. Can't remember who asked about costs of these, but I also have to pay R600 and I also deliver at a Medi-Clinic.
