Amanda I am sure it can get way to hectic with all the FB friend requests - you have to do what makes you comfortable I really hope the infections clears up great news that she is off the Cpap and on normal oxygen.

Ilseross sorry about your scare - so happy you are on antibiotics hope you get better soon.

Juandre you sound exhausted! Sorry about the low BP - make sure you eat regularly and put yourself first. I must say I agree that this pregnancy has been much harder than the 1st. I am exhausted all the time and the heat wave in JHB hasnt helped!

Mummoo sounds like you had an amazing birthday - so glad you spoilt yourself. They might not have babygrows now because its summer? I havent seen any at my woolies either?

Zelf so glad you got your plans - they really need to hire amazing admin people to sort out their paper mess

Carolsch so nice that the inlaws are coming to help - you must take what you can get. You need to put yourself first and it will benefit the baby and ruan!

We are having a GIRL Went to the gynae yesterday and had the fetal assesment and she is doing amazing and everything is perfect so far I have picked up 4.5kg so far... I now weigh 63kg. Dont want to go over 70kg
Got sooo much work to do and really dont feel like it
Has anyone been battling with nosebleeds - I had my 1st one today - never had it with my last pregnancy? Must be this heat.

Jip Simone, 2 weekly from now! Cost me an arm and a leg though - my Gynae is very expensive, and Medical aid is caput for the year I just laugh about you ice craving! Luckily I dont have any - but I have heard of other pregnant ladies with an ice craving before!

I agree with the breastfeeding in bed Carolsh, so much easier. Although my babies sleep in their own cot, they don't sleep with us normally - will put them in bed with us though when they don't settle. And I understand what you're saying about In laws coming this weekend - although they're there to help - you still have to cater for them! Thinking of you.

Hi Angi - yay - baby has a name - love the name Izelle! And Carlene is right, if you deliver at Medi-Clinic the 4D scan is free.

Carlene, almost time for your appointment - a lot of appointments this 2 weeks then - jippee! Hope you find the box with the clothes easily - must say it's frustrating this situation me and you have with boxes here and there, not knowing when we'll move etc. But I just keep reminding myself there is light at the end of the tunnel - we are getting new homes, we are blessed!

Good to hear little Vica is doing better Amanda! She sounds like such a strong little fighter(they say the girls are ), Thinking of you and her everyday.

Mandy, so good to hear thst your son had a blast on his birthday! That berry elixir really works for me, so give it a try. I live on it when I'm breastfeeding.

Mandy glad Cam enjoyed his party:) how clever to hide some gifts! Why didn't I think of that? We have at least R1000's worth of Barbies lying naked all over the house!! How sweet that your mom will be with for scan:) the shopping...I'm so clueless. I walk through clicks and go 'oh yes...some panado'. At baby boom 'maybe I need more nappies?'. CLUELESS!!! No method to my madness.lol. I. Have no idea how many newborn nappies/outfits to get. Wondering if I have too many clothes. Maybe more clueless than first time as I was so driven by the list of what we need...now I reckon...'We'll wing it! The shops are open everyday if I forgot something;)'.

Like what is a good price for nappies??

Hello girls - Sho! im on 32 weeks and can so relate to feeling like my tummy is at capacity!! I cannot believe that this tummy will almost double~!

Amanda - Hi ! good to hear Vica is progressing so well! Shame man, I do understand how facebook starts to feel invasive with all the extra people you tend to add on.. I did it with work collegues and suddenly I felt trapped like everything i said would be judged! So i deleted all of them and felt a million times better!

Simone - I havent done any shopping yet, but just like you I had to get over my first childs birthday first, I have the baby shower this week end and then I will know what to shop for! so all in good time! You must be feeling now that all that stuff is over you can get cracking on getting yourself sorted!!! nice! please pass on any suggestions or good finds while shopping!

I have an appointment on thursday this week at 10am yay and my mom is here visiting from PE so it will be nice to have her see little Jenna in my tummy!

Juandre - sorry about your BP - I heard that some preggies have been taking that schlengen Berry elixir before giving birth and that it has helped energy levels - so perhaps that might help get you more balanced.. I have been feeling beyong tired and im going to buy some to see if it would help me to stay awake longer!!

oooh Maureen - enjoy the 4D scan tomorrow, I loved ours report back pls!

My sons birthday was soooo divine, he loved every second of turning 3.. we landed up putting HALF the gifts away as he started playing with some of them immediately and since boxes were closed, he didnt realise what was inside them! We will bring them out slowly during the holidays and especially when the baby comes and he needs some distraction!!

I keep getting requests and I've just posted on Mommalicious that I'm not accepting any friend requests and will be removing everybody I do not know personally.

Vica is doing fine for now, infection count is lower but still elevated. She's off CPAP ("snorkel" for oxygen) and on normal oxygen (pipe in nose) now and they're checking how its going.

Mummoo, congratulations on the 30week mark. A Spa treatment sounds so define at the moment. Wish I can go for one. Well, you are very lucky for getting two bags from Discovery, but, I think it is only fare. I hope you get a baby shower again.

Carol, sorry about the infection. I also got a watery discharge, but I thought it was normal. Will ask the doc next week, although I don’t like it to talk to him about such intimate stuff. Maybe I must go to my normal doctor, at least it’s a women.

Ag Juandre, low BP is not nice, but at least it is not unsafe for the baby. You must just rest a lot, but yes, being your own boss makes it a bit difficult. Especially if it means “no work, no pay”

I must go and find the box with all Emma’s old clothes in, because it is in the store room. We were supposed to be in our new house by now, but, now I have to unpack that stuff again.

Simone, I was wondering about that “self sterilizing bottles”. How does that work? I’m going with Tommee Tippee again, or maybe Nuby. Will still see. I’m also getting the BH very often, but mine is not sore, just very uncomfortable. All party stuff looks so lovely. I also did the milk bottles with little Strawberry shortcake pictures on, for Emma’s first birthday. The black and pink is really lovely.

Zel, you can be lucky for having a baby shower at work as well. I won’t be having one this time at my office, because most of the ladies I’m working with was at my other Baby shower. But with Emma I had two.

Ashleigh, I really hope for your sake that you give birth at night. Just don’t yell too loudly. Otherwise you can be sure of them come and investigate.

I’m also very huge. And like you Carol, if people ask me my time, and I tell them Feb, they just look at me funny. So now I just say, end of January, it doesn’t sound that far away. Hahaha.

I’m going for my next appointment on Monday. Will see then how the two week thing will work. I don’t know if there rooms close over the December holidays or if he’s going on leave. He didn’t say anything, but then again he never says a lot.

Angi, I don’t know what it cost for a 4D scan, got mine from the hospital for free, and as far as I know, it you deliver at a Medi clinic, they give you the 4D scan for free aswell. So maybe you must just find out.

Went for dr appointment yesterday Izelle is doing well and growing according to dates, she weighs 563g now, I swear she is camera shy she refuses to show us her face...going for my next xhexk up 12 december...I see the Medi-clinic here by us does 4D scans now yippie charge R600 is it reasonable or what...

Zel that dis-chem bag is disappointing, we not getting a bag from our MA Medi-help doesn't do it anymore...atleast gonna get a bag from medi-help...

Will come on more often so sorry for not doing personals...
