Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

Haha Ashleigh, been feeling huge too! When people ask me when I am due they go " Are you sure? You are so big already?" or " Sjoe en jy lyk nou al so?? I have been applying lots of happy event cream as I am also worried about the skin not streching. still have 12 weeks to go.

ZelF - I would not have been able to stop myself from looking. Good for you though!!! Millay is really getting spoiled. Two baby showers. Nice. Oh I also had a baby shower at work last time... Very small that is why I forgot about it. Did not expect it so it was really sweet of them.

I should really get myself into gear. In 2 weeks I will be 30 weeks! Then I want to start the baby room. Maybe I should first start with a baby corner As if I am going to get up at night and sit in another room. NO much better breastfeeding in be. Getting a little scared as I remember how sore breastfeeding was the few weeks. Perseverance!!!

Oh and apparently my inlaws are coming thursday or friday to help out a bit. Nice of them...maybe i should just be thankful for some help. Its just so much work having people over. I know they come to help, but will I be able to just relax and let someone else take over??? I mean they are the guests...

Ashleigh...imagine the in laws coming and peeping at your business??? So I also hope maybe at night...otherwise just make sure you/hubby chat to them beforehand. I cant wait for your birth story though!!

Anybody else have crazy ice cravings? I go through about 1-2L of ice pieces a day! No wonder I wake up to wee 10 times a night I am now freezing water at work for my ice craving...its crazy!

Havent packed bags yet. The bag I bought at toys r us is soooo small. Cant even get baby's clothes in there. Waiting for Baby boom to get new JJ Cole bags in and hopefully the bag I've had my eye on will be there.

I went to Clicks on Sunday and bought the toiletries i needed. The lady at counter asked me if I had a baby on the way. So i said...yes...next month. She asks me if I'm sure...lol. Had the same with Addison where people didnt believe I was due in a month (but I was alot thinner with her)...but so annoyed as at 33 weeks who wants to still announce you're preggies all cause you are overweight?? *sigh* Really going to kick the weight loss into gear after this baby. Hoping I'll be lighter due to only putting on 1kg so far....so maybe 8kgs lighter than pre-pregnancy weight...and then start losing more from there.

Whats for lunch preggie ladies? I got a woolies microwave meal...chicken and brocolli....and an appletiser. Wishing I had something salty....chips or something...but I;ve scoffed down 4 biscuits now...so no chips for me:(

Zelf the midwifes are really nice. Take there time with you answer all you questions. So ja, all is still on track for the home birth. I was sitting thinking just now, I hope I give birth during the night when everyone is sleeping. Because with the inlaws that live next door they will not respect my privacy. So the little they know of what is going on the better.

I having been feeling huge lately. Its feels as if I am going to pop. I tummy feels as if it cant stretch any further and thats scary coz Ive got 13 weeks left!

Simone, so you're going to the Gynae on Friday? Lucky you! I am going on the 23rd - still 1 week left .

It helps to have the extra clothes , especially when it's the start of a new season! It's so difficult to predict if you have enough.Ewan was a big/fat baby, so he wore his clothes for not to long, and always a month/6 weeks before he was a certain age, I had to move to the next age's clothing. Janu is totally different. He wears his clothes for a long period, and the age thing is right. So I don't know what to expect with this LG.

Ashleigh are you having home birth??? That is sooo cool!!!!!

Clothing...yip got newborn all the way to 18-24 months! Wondering if not too many 0-3 month stuff. Will keep tags on half the clothing just in case.

Oh shame...didnt know Vica had a lung infection:( Hope she is doing better.

Mummoo - you are indeed a very busy lady. Sounds like you enjoy it though! Amazing how people differs - I will be very teary by now if I have so many outings during the week! I am sure you will have a shower, but your time is running out - maybe one after the babies are born . The woolies babygrows sells out soooooo quick - if you see them you must buy! They have a range clothes - Essentials I think, which have nice vests that open in front and underneath - I can't find any newborn in any colour!! Want to buy for my SIL, it's their first baby, and those are very nice for inexperienced parents

Good that you catched that infection early Carolsch - read yesterday thats a big contributor to early labour! Janroux is nice and big already!I start on 2 weekly appointments from 32 weeks - not that I am going to have them though - Gynae is on leave from early Dec! Had one at 28 weeks, then 32 weeks, then I'm going to have one at 34 weeks, and thereafter???Will hear what's his plan for me next week.

Was worried about you Juandre - good to hear from you. Low BP makes you feel yucky!! Eat some Marmite/Bovril - a whole teaspoon - a bit on a sandwhich is not enough! Being you own boss sucks sometimes

Simone - I think we get the BH because we are busier that with the first pregnancies? Also have been getting them a lot more with this pregnancy than with the other 2! Sounds like you have a lot of clothes - is it at least for different ages? The one lady here at work was on leave for 2 days - I had to do some work on her computer, and saw a doucument titled "Millay's babyshower" Was so tempted to open the document to check the date and details, but, I hold myself in!!So I'm also getting a shower at work.

Not feeling too well today either - can't pinpoint whats wrong - just don't feel well . At least we got some good news yesterday - seems that our new house will transfer early Dec, and we got a builder who's prepared to fix all the stuff during Dec, so we just have to get an occupancy certificate in Jan, and then hopefully we will be able to only move once at end of January!

Amanda, how's Vica doing? The lung infection better?
