Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

I’m also very tired, because Emma is ALSO not sleeping well. Every night about 1h30 she wakes up and then she wants to sleep in our bed. Monday night, after about an hour of trying to cope with her kicking me and DH snoring, I went to sleep in the spare bedroom. Tuesday night was the same. Only difference, this LO started to kick me from inside and Emma from the outside. So I had it from both directions and both my children. Then, she woke up again about 3h from a dream or something, and she was just lying there, rolling around for about an hour or so. 4h00 she whispered to me:”Mamma, ek wil gaan piepie”. Wanted to tell her to piepie in her nappy, but I thought that she is doing so great with the potty training, and it is good that she can wake me up to tell me she wants to go to the loo. So yes, ChubbyChick, between me going to the loo about 4times a night and my LO waking me up to go, it is also not a lot of sleep for me. And the getting out of the bed to go to the loo, is the worst.
Well, needless to say, when our alarm clock went off, Emma was sleeping peacefully after keeping us out of the sleep. Last night was the same.

Ashleigh, I also hope you have a nice sunny day on Sunday. Although they said that there is a chance for rain, I hope it is late Sunday afternoon after your party. It is also my BIL’s birthday party on Sunday at the Botanical garden, so I’m also hoping for a nice and sunny morning.

Sharon, you must also enjoy your B-day party this weekend. I’m so looking forward to see the photo’s of the two parties on Monday.

Today it is my turn to go and see my LO. Our appointment is 16h30 this afternoon. I can’t wait to see that little peanut and her heartbeat again. I have reached my 26week mark today. Gee, time is flying by. Fourteen weeks to go.

Zelf, sorry to hear from the car troubles. O and so sorry about the R5000 bill. Not so nice.

Well, it is back to work for me. Month-end again.

Vision...kids...about 22. Adults??? No idea...as some friends without kids will be there. So my house is going to be chaotic!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEKKK!!!

Ashleigh..3am??? I would DIE!! Addison at one stage (when smaller) did wake up during the night to play, but we had her in cot next to bed so we could sleep on. BUT we would wake up some mornings and find she removed all her clothes, poo nappy (and flings at my head!), MATRESS LYING NEXT TO COT! And teats out of bottle....milk all over. She was a terrorist at a stage! lol. Imagine waking up to that????

Ashleigh the same this side work wise:( I am NEVER busy. Hubby thinks its nice to come and do nothing at work...I beg to differ!

CC 5 loo runs??? oh my word! 1st trimester was like that for me...now at least down to 2 or 3 a night. Its so annoying hey?? So nice that DH helps out and let you rest...sounds like you have hectic job and need some time off your feet. Everything ready? Um no.lol. No baby bag...nothing. I have some toiletries I got at babysense seminar...lol. Will book bed next week:)

Vision woolies lemon cheesecake is the BEST!!! I had birthday cake and a piece of lemon/poppy seed loaf from woolies now. YUMMY:)

HEre are pics of cupcakes and cake yesterday. Cupcakes and cake covered in a soft italian meringue! Cupcakes have caramel in centre:) Addison tried to carry cake out the door telling me: But mummmeeeee...she wants to go outside! lol

She is running a temp today:( Yesterday she said her chest was sore...but no sound or coughing just very thirsty. She isnt a child that gets sick so I'm a bit freaked out...and this still 2 days before her party!

Shoe R5000 is alot for brakes!!

I'm feeling so fustrated today. There is nothing going on at work today(basically the whole week so far). I just dont feel like sitting here doing nothing. Just wish I could go home, there is so much things I want to get done there.

I am feeling a bit better today. Work has been hectic and a couple of other things. I don't know about you ladies but the last couple of years it has felt as if we had the worst luck. So I am hoping that our luck changes soon. Have a few things in the pipeline, and I don't want to say to much in order not to jinx it.

Jamie slept in his bed the whole night, I just didn't give in to him wanting to climb into ours, so I climbed in with him, wait till he fell a sleep again and then got out and into my bed. I did this about 4 times, and I feel a whole lot better today. Also only gave him water to drink when he woke up as we are back to 2 bottles of milk, one before bed time and one at 5 am. And that is that. I am fed up of this little guy giving me such a hard time the last couple of weeks.

Jamie is also 18 months today. He is going for his injections on Tuesday.

Have started washing some of the clothing that we have for Reagan, can't believe we will be having such a small little person in our soon again. His room is almost totally sorted out. Just need to put the curtains up, the net curtains are up at least. Also need to wash some Jamie's old toys, so will get around to it this weekend.

I am in the mood for chocolate cake!

Chubbychick so glad to hear that you are feeling better except for the tiredness - but I think that is definitely due to your strenuous job of being on your feet all day and out in the sun. Dont let them make you work too hard!!! I used to sleep straight through so also hate the wake up calls during the night to go to the toilet - I suppose it is practice for those night feeds

Simone how was the rest of Addisons birthday? Are you all ready for the party - I suppose alot of stuff just has to be done on the day...

Zelf so glad you enjoyed the function yesterday - it was boiling hot yesterday so glad the pills helped! Oh no R5000 is so much for brakes - I am glad they can fix it so quickly though as you say it is a nightmare having to share 1 car.
I had a lemon cheesecake pudding thing from Woolies and a healthy tuna roll for lunch to make up for it

Had a great outing at the Rooi Rose/CANSA morning yesterday, it was just very,very hot!My blood pressure was very low at a stage, felt like I am going to pass out - think the heat was a contributor, luckily the Gynae gave me some pills, and it helped! But then, when I left there, I had some car problems . The brakes has been making a noise for a week or so now,I only managed to make a booking for this and a service next week Wednesday. BUT yesterday, I heard this very loud noise, and then I had now brakes!! Luckily it was just about 4 km from home, so I managed to get home - not so easy to brake with gears when you drive an automatic car . Got the car towed to Honda, and they phoned me just before 8 this morning - R5000 just for the brakes!! Hopefully they get it fixed today - not so easy with 1 car, with me and hubby working opposite ends of Pretoria!

To the ladies who asked - yes, because of the previous pre-term birth of Janu(born at 35 weeks, my membranes ruptured ), as well as the bleeding during the pregnancy, my Gynae wants to take the precautious route, and give the steriod injections at 32 weeks. I have read a bit about it, and I am happy with his decision.

Went to Carol Boyes to buy a wedding present for my cousin - yikes but her stuff is expensive!!!!Hubby went with, and he thinks it's a total waste. Men doesn't understand if a girl want something pretty, it doesn't matter what it costs!! Just kidding, but I told him as well that we got a set of salad servers as well as some spoons as wedding gifts, and it's something that I will treasure forever, it sure isn't something that I will(or can afford for that matter) to buy myself! So I hope they like it!

Going for the 4D scan at the hospital this afternoon, taking the Grannies with, they are so excited!
