Whose son had the kit kat in pic yesterday? ZelF? I went to checkers last night and for some reason at the till grabbed a kit kat...lol. Talk about the sub conscious! Then I saw the pic now and realised why I bought it...its still sitting in my bag.

Ashleigh did you go natural first time round? Your doc does sound pro c-section...be prepared to fight for the birth you want! Makes me so mad when doctors try to force their agendas on us:( What time is your party on Saturday?

ZelF what time is appointment? And what did doc see on scan previously????

Vision I also hope its just teething bothering your LG! MAternity clothes...I agree...nothing much at the shops. Woolies been very disappointing. Edgars I dont even look anymore. Luckily weekends I wear leggings and long tops and to work I can dress casual so wearing my gypsy skirts and also leggings and tops. So not bothering to get maternity clothes anymore.

Vision my white friends are the same...when they hear I'm making breyani I get all sorts of messages that they'll sell their souls to have some...lol. I have to every few weeks make a huge pot just so I can send them all a pyrex dish full. But I love that they love my food so I dont mind. Lol @ hubby....so he scores food because they feel sorry for him? Thats so cute.

I'm doing well...looking forward to my scan next week and then I book my bed and go on to 2 weekly appointments! YIKES!

I've put on 1kg now that wont go away...so I'm guessing I have no more reserves and I will start putting on weight now...but doesnt help that i am PERMANENTLY HUNGRY!!! Anybody else have this? I have supper and I am hungry at bed time. Wake up for loo and I am hungry! Wake up in the morning...starving...eish! SO I may put on 10kgs in these last few weeks.lol.

Addison is big time into Barbie now...and my sister bought her a Barbie from her fave Barbie movie for her birthday (Fairy secret). Cant wait for her to open it up...she is going to freak out!!!

Hi Vision! I am feeling good thanks, a bit worried about the thing the doc saw on the scan the last time, but will see what we see today and what the doc says.
Hopefully it's just the teeth that's giving your girl fever!
I had a few long sleeve tops(T-shirt and light material) that I weared in my previous pregnancy, and since I am definately not planning on being pregnant again, I asked my MIL to cut of the sleeves. Got it back from her on Sunday, now it feels like I have a whole new wardrobe

Ashleigh your LG is an awesome size and hooray on only picking up a kg that is really awesome!! Its all your cleaning Sorry about the Dr. She must support you in the decision you want to make.

My Dr. is so awesome - my friend went to him with her recent pregnancy and she had a Csec in August last year and she really wanted a Vbac - everyone told her she is crazy etc but he said to her that he is happy to wait and see how things go and take it from there based on HER health. He didnt just shoot her down. In the end she had to have the Csec but atleast he gave her hope.
I begged him for a Csec halfway through my labour (12 hours long) and he just laughed and said I am tough I must hang in there

My husband LOVES breyani. We have lots of coloured/indian friends and he loves it when he is invited over for supper cause the make the best food ever and they always feel sorry for their white friend and send him home with LOTS of take aways!

Carlene so sorry about the fall! Hope you are ok - you must have got such a fright!

My weekend was not so good - my LG got a fever late friday night and was miserable the whole weekend. I think she is getting her back molars because she is not sick at all and her temp is not very high. Had to fetch her early yesterday cause she got another fever and the heat was not helping. She is much better today.
I CANT find any nice maternity clothes - went to Edgars, Mr. Price, Woolworths... and my choices are definitely dwindling. Most of my maternity clothes from last time were winter things... Will just have to keep looking

Ashleigh, good to hear that all is well with Mckaylin! Sorry about the doctor . Just ignore her, if I remember correctly Dr Hogewind is still your back-up dr if need be?

It's so hot!!! It's fine when I am in the office with the aircon, but as soon as I leave the office, the heat strucks!!!!

Yay - going to the Gynae at 16h00 today! I'm excited to see my LG again!

So appointment went well. BP is normal. Only picked up 1kg in 2 months, very happy about that. Doc also said its a girl. Baba is 765g now. All in all everything looks goods. Only thing I would like to vent about is the doc telling me that SHE will decide at 37 weeks if I can go natural or not. I felt like slapping her. Not once did DR. Hogewind question my choice of a natural birth. Oviously if the baby is breech then natural birth is not possible but you cross that bridge when you get there. You immediately get the impression from her she is pro c-section. GRRRRR Ok Vent over!!!

Carlene - Sorry about the fall. I hope you arent in too much pain.

Cakes...go team Blue:) Riley is a very nice name. Re: movement...I agree with the other mommy...only by week 22 or so should you stress. Some people feel much earlier and much later. 1st time round I felt at 19 weeks the fluttering started. 2nd time round I swear I felt the fluttering from about 10 weeks! WAY EARLIER THAN EXPECTED!

CC glad you and DH sorted out the misunderstanding! Chloe reminds me of my daughter. We did 5km on Saturday, but DH walked with her. He had to wait for madam to step on stones at her own leiusure...eventually he just put her on shoulders and walked like that for a bit.lol.

ZelF all of a sudden I want a Kit Kat...lol. That is too cute!!! Dont worry about the room...being a baby they dont even need it. My daughter is 3 and still doesnt have own room, but mainly cause family living with us:( We're hoping to buy a house next year then I'll go wild! Lb will be in our room for quite a while I'm guessing so he doesnt need a room now.

Carlene...shame man. Glad you didnt hurt yourself badly. Emma sounds adorable though! Addison hurt her foot and I kissed it..and I ask is it better? She tells me: no mummy. Not yet. LOL. So wondering how much longer kisses can fix boo boos in my house!

I had a good weekend. Saturday I did the 5km that was great! Then DH dragged me to mall and we did some shopping. Eventually by like 1pm (after leaving home at 6:30am) I was feeling like I needed to rest...so we went home and I showered and slept for a bit.

Sunday we met with friends down from EL and that was quite nice. THey bought Addison the cutest hello kitty pjs and pink pony and also 3 outfits and blanket for little boy:) We got their 16m old a doll and she loved it...she was so cute!

I just bought Addison Hello Kitty bedding the weekend so she was so excited to wear her pjs and had to put new duvet on last night without even washing it! She dragged that duvet with her to watch tv this morning.

My baby turns 3 on Wednesday! So excited. Ordered a doll cake for her...with the real doll in the middle.Will then just make some breyani for visitors...then the big party on Saturday!!! YAY!
