Carolsch, you will be fine!! Must admit I felt the same way when I was pregnant with Janu, a 3 year 9 months age differance between him and Ewan. I even went for a half hour refresher course at the sister where we went for our prenatal classes the first time . BUT, it was all unnecessary! When I held him for the first time - all came back to me! With this one, the gap is so small, I didn't have time to forget anything

Mummoo, kids take things we say so literally! I must say, I learn something "new" through their eyes everyday. I wondered if you had names yet - but will wait in suspense, sure it's difficult to decide on 2 names at once - one is hard enough

Simone,I'm with Carolsch on the cloth nappy thing! I just don't have energy for it. Hope you find the right ones.

I try not to buy the kids toys, but will give in sometimes. I LOVE to buy them books though!!!

Carlene, it's your babyshower tomorrow?? Enjoy!!!!! Oh, wanted to comment on that friend of yours at work. I would advise her to go and see a professional. I really think the parents should get advise and a plan to change the situation(and it must start with them unfortunately), and then maybe they can send him to playtherapy as well?? I really hope for them they get something done now, there is still time,otherwise in a few years when he's older, it's going to be absolute hell. Thinking of her though, it's not going to be easy.

Shame carol. Not a nice way to wake up. I think it will all come back to you as soon as LO is born.
I was in panic mode last night thinking of giving birth again. With my first I had an epidural this time Im going all natural so Im so scared that I wont be able to handle the pain.

So glad its Friday. I hope we are going have a sunny weekend. I feel like spending time outside with the kids and enjoying the swimming pool.

I just woke up a bit panicky. - cannot remember how often I breastfed, I cannot remember what medicines are safe for newborn babs. Feels like I am going to have to learn it all over again!

ZELF - that is so cute! It amazing how they associate things. On Sunday mylittle girl wanted to take a DVD with to friends ofours and then I said "Ok, lets put it in the sleeve so that it doesn't get damaged - next thgn I see she is trying to roll the DVD up into her jersey on the sofa! I cracked up - guess it was my fault for not showing her what the DVD sleeve looks like! So cute.

Thanks CarolSch - trick is to find another 2 girls name's that complement each other now!

Simone - Haaniyah was also into Toy Story! GH came home one day with this huge Buzz doll. I try not to buy her too many toys - I like to spend on educational stuff rather or books - she loves puzzles and books. Whereas hubby will buy anything when she says "Dad I would like this".

Off to the Bafunny Bafunny comedy show tonight!

Simone, I have to admit we also spoil Ruan. Every time we go to the mall he ends up taking a toy. So he has got a crapload of toys. By now having to by for 2kids...hmmm. We are starting to buy less and less. Otherwise he won't understand having to share with boetie.

Cloth nappies is a big no-no for me. My SIL was very brave to try it. But in the end she ended up with a bucket of dirty nappies. Its not like you can just throw the dirty no.2 nappy in the washing machine hehe. Time consuming, of which I hardly have any, and smelly! I take my hat of to people who can actually do it!! I was all up for it until I saw all the trouble you need to go through

Juandre we said we wouldnt find out the sex...and the minute the gynae said: Lets see what this is...hubby and I didnt stop him.lol. I dont have the patience...BUT if we have number 3 and seeing as we have pigeon pair, then I will try my hardest not to find out.

Mummoo...Addison was also big time into Tangled a few months back. Now its Barbie Barbie Barbie! She was also a huge Toy Story fan last year...so much so she spotted a Buzz in Game after xmas and REFUSED to put it down. Luckily I called Makro to find out price so Game did price beat for me...as a quick R500 toy is not on the budget after xmas! EISH!

Do you ladies find it hard to not buy your kids everything they want?? My child is really sweet and she wont have a major tantrum for stuff....but dh and I both admit we give her anything she wants. I just dont want a spoilt brat...hoping with 2 kids I have to stop the excessive spoiling!

Carol i think the kids are sooooo dramatic! lol. Addison will say: ooh my shoulders are so sore. You have to take me to hospital mummy!

So I can totally picture your son saying he is 'sooooooooo' hungry as Addison is also sooooooo hungry when she wants something.lol.

Was having period like pains the last few days in my back and read it can indicate signs of labour so I just stopped reading! Missy told me about a friend who lost baby as they didnt pick up she had a placenta previa:( And then 2nd time round had to deliver at 36w as placenta again gave problems....luckily baby fine, but I am just praying my placenta stays put and gives us no problems. Just find it so weird that a natural birth just doesnt seem to be on the cards for me! But ya...child's safety first:)

Are any of you uising cloth nappies on your new babies? Or using on current kids? I'm considering going cloth nappy route...but all the info out there is overwhelming...and its an expensive investment!!
